As a seasoned filmmaker and actor myself, I can empathize with Justin Baldoni’s sentiments about the value of friction in creating art. His journey through dual roles in “A Journal for Jordan” undoubtedly presented unique challenges that pushed him to grow as an artist and a person. However, it’s crucial to address the concerning reports that have surfaced regarding his behavior on set.

According to a source, it seems that not everyone on the set of “The It Ends With Us” supports Blake Lively’s perspective. The source also mentioned that there are many who believe Justin Baldoni was unfairly treated creatively, suggesting that he may have been mistreated in some way.

Lately, there have been reports of significant creative disagreements and conflicts arising among the co-stars during their individual publicity events.

However, it appears that the production has put an end to speculations about the entire cast supporting Blake, aged 37. Instead, they report that several members of the crew hold Justin, also 40, in a positive light as both director and star.

In conversation with TMZ, sources reported that Justin tends to be quite pleasant during collaborations and places a high value on the project’s success.

The claims came just hours after The Hollywood Reporter revealed Justin had hired a crisis pr manager – the same one used by Johnny Depp during his defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Speculation about a dispute between the two main actors grew on TikTok prior to the launch of It Ends With Us, as observant fans pointed out that Justin had been missing from promotional press events for the movie.

People were wondering if there might have been some tension within the cast, as Justin and Blake didn’t seem to take any pictures together during the premiere of their movie.

According to TMZ, there seemed to be a clear artistic tension on the filming location. Insiders mentioned that Blake Lively was keen to demonstrate her creative abilities.

According to Page Six’s latest reports, citing numerous sources, Justin found the working conditions on set to be particularly challenging. It was also revealed that Blake felt uneasy during filming.

According to a source, none of the cast seemed to enjoy working with Justin, as they avoided interacting with him during the premiere.

On Wednesday, it became known that Justin had engaged a crisis management PR agency to handle his affairs as they currently stand.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Justin has decided to seek assistance from the highly respected crisis management specialist, Melissa Nathan, for his current predicament.

Melissa has gained notoriety for standing by Johnny Depp’s side in the court case involving defamation accusations against his former spouse, Amber Heard.

In a conversation with ELLE UK on Tuesday, the actor, who also helmed the successful romance movie, spoke about the tension on set that arose between him and Lively – a topic that has been a subject of discussion among fans due to Lively’s recent interview with her co-stars.

Back in June, I proudly took the plunge and founded my very own agency, The Agency Group. It’s been an absolute dream come true to welcome on board some of the biggest names in entertainment, like Johnny Depp, Drake, The Chainsmokers, Logan Paul, and many more!

The Agency Group is based in Los Angeles and New York, with a satellite office in Washington, DC.

Previously, Melissa was employed by Matthew Hiltzik, who heads the crisis management firm, Hiltzik Strategies.

At that location, she stood as Johnny Depp’s legal representative during his defamation case against Amber Heard. However, after news broke about her joining a new law firm, he decided to switch allegiances and work with her instead.

In response to negative press following accusations that he made Emily Lively feel uncomfortable during filming for a potential blockbuster, Justin has decided to enlist Melissa’s expertise in crisis management – a skill she honed while dealing with challenging public relations issues. The man who gained fame from his starring role in the popular romantic comedy series Jane The Virgin is now seeking her guidance.

However, it seems that the rumored strife between Justin and Blake wasn’t just confined to the set of “It Ends With Us”, but extended into the movie’s editing phase as well.

Based on reports to The Hollywood Reporter, it appears that Justin and Blake experienced a significant rift following the completion of filming, stemming from disagreements over different versions of the movie, which is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling 2016 novel.

It’s said that Blake engaged Shane Reid as an editor, tasking him with creating a distinct version of the movie, apart from the one being worked on by Justin and the two officially credited editors.

Previously, Shane held the position of editor for Deadpool and Wolverine, movies where Ryan Reynolds, Blake’s spouse, acted, co-wrote, and produced. In addition to this, she made a brief appearance in the film, just like several of their kids did.

Shane’s contribution to a particular scene of “It Ends With Us” didn’t result in him receiving screen credit, and it’s uncertain if any pieces of his version, commissioned by Blake, ended up in the movie’s final release that was credited to Oona Flaherty and Robb Sullivan.

On Tuesday, Justin tackled the ‘tension’ while endorsing his latest movie, amid speculations about ongoing disputes.

He described how tension during production can lead to ‘beautiful art’ as he promoted the new movie during an interview with ELLE UK.

The actor from Jane The Virgin shared insights on handling multiple characters, explaining that stress can sometimes lead to better performances in movies.

He elaborated that taking on both acting and directing roles, particularly for a demanding production such as this one, posed significant difficulties. The role of Ryle was intricate and put a lot of stress on him, while as a director he had to constantly manage various individuals’ personalities.

Each day on set brings a unique set of occurrences, and making a film like this often involves tension. However, it is that very tension, I think, that ultimately gives birth to the stunning artwork we see at the end of the day.

Life has taught me that growth comes through struggle. And let me tell you, the journey of creating our masterpiece was grueling and filled with challenges, yet it was also a magical experience that I will cherish forever. It pushed me to my limits, but in doing so, I expanded my horizons as a filmmaker, an actor, and as a person. The hardships I faced during this process have left an indelible mark on my soul, and I am grateful for the lessons they have taught me.

On Friday, I learned from reliable sources that while working on the movie, Justin’s conduct was sometimes chauvinistic and bordering on abusive. Additionally, he reportedly disregarded my suggestions during scenes portraying abuse.

The source noted that Justin neglected to take into account Blake’s character’s point of view, instead concentrating exclusively on what he perceived as the abusive male perspective. Moreover, his methodology on set was quite chauvinistic, resulting in an uncomfortable and tense environment.

In a somewhat similar scenario, it’s been reported that Justin’s behavior on set made some women feel as though he was verging on abusive towards them. Additionally, they perceived him as being unprofessional and unwilling to apologize for his actions.

Justin praised Blake effusively, referring to her as an ‘incredible force of creativity’ and likening her acting skills to the sleek performance of a high-end sports car like a Ferrari.

‘It’s like the difference between driving a Toyota Camry or like a Ferrari. You’re like acting with somebody who’s like a Ferrari of an actor,’ Justin said.

Your slight adjustments seemed to trigger their reactions, and it was truly remarkable, adding significantly to my creation process for the performance.

1. “She had such a profound impact on various elements of the project; whatever she worked on, it was always improved. She’s incredibly quick to respond and adapt.”
