Despite Baldoni, 40, boasting to E! News during a red carpet interview that her husband ‘wrote’ the famous opening rooftop scene in the movie, a source suggests that Baldoni was unaware of Reynolds’ involvement in the creation of the scene.

‘I noticed a few small moments that seemed spontaneous to me. For example, when he asks “Pretty please with a cherry on top,” and she mentions maraschino cherries. When I saw this, I thought it was an adorable improvisation. If Ryan wrote that, then it’s fantastic.’
She mentioned that she noticed a few subtle embellishments that weren’t part of her original script, but believed they were spontaneously created during filming.
She reiterated, “As I mentioned before, the significant moments have been acknowledged in the script. I acknowledge and take pride in this scene. If Ryan contributed to these embellishments, I think that’s fantastic.”
Hall confessed that the rooftop scene was likely the most challenging to portray since it was ‘absolutely brilliant’ in the original story.
She clarified that her initial approach for the scene was to stay as faithful as possible to Colleen’s original writing, using similar phrases.
‘I really, really tried because I just think that she did it best. What’s tricky about that scene is it’s long.’
In the process of publicizing the movie, Lively disclosed that the Deadpool actor, who is 47 years old, collaborated on writing the memorable rooftop sequence.
At the recent New York City premiere, Blake, the leading actress and producer of the movie, revealed to E! News that her husband was actually the author of it. This fact has been a secret until now.
In the recent film appearance where she portrayed Ladypool alongside Reynolds in Deadpool & Wolverine, the actress remarked, “We support one another.
