Israel Adesanya involved in alleged road rage incident (Video)
As a longtime fan, I must say I’m disheartened to see Israel Adesanya’s recent off-ring antics. It’s not the ‘Last Stylebender’ I know and love. The video of him arguing with a man and spitting is troubling, especially considering New Zealand’s strict laws on assault.
Lately, Israel Adesanya hasn’t had much luck; he just lost his comeback fight in the UFC, and more recently, videos emerged showing him engaged in an altercation with an individual in New Zealand – his former title holder status
The video depicts an encounter between Adesanya and another individual near Adesanya’s car. They seem to be engaged in a heated discussion. Adesanya appears to gesture rudely at the other person, who responds by showing off his muscles. The situation escalates as you can hear Adesanya instructing the man to leave and calling his vehicle derogatory names. Adesanya then mimics holding his groin area and insults the man using disrespectful language. He subsequently spits at the man
It’s not quite clear what initiated his anger or why Adesanya became so upset. This situation is still unfolding, and we’ll provide updates as more details emerge. Here’s a look at the recent events

If the man insists that his work is not assault, it is an alternative journalism
Isaac Adesanya is preparing for his next fight following a surprising defeat against longtime rival Dricus Du Plessis and a temporary hiatus after losing to Sean Strickland. During this period, he dealt with legal issues stemming from a drunk driving charge in Auckland, New Zealand, which was filed in 2023. Adesanya admitted guilt, expressed remorse, and the court dismissed the charges, requiring him instead to donate NZ$1,500 (approximately USD $900) to charity, suspend his driver’s license for six months, and enroll in a drunk-driving intervention program by the end of 2024
