Islanders: New Shores Brings a New Sandbox Mode and Building Types to Xbox This Summer
Coatsink has unveiled “Islanders: New Shores,” a sequel to the 2021 console release, “Islanders.” Scheduled for release this summer, the upcoming game aims to replicate the tranquil ambiance and simplified strategy that made the original so popular. It will expand upon the fundamentals of the first game.
Refreshed mechanics, options, and innovations will expand possibilities for discovery, construction, and tactical planning, featuring new archipelagos to develop and a selection of structures to pick from. Positioning structures wisely is crucial for maximizing points, in a streamlined yet intellectually stimulating city-building strategy experience.
In this game, you’ll find one-time bonuses called ‘boons’, which can assist you in conquering the more difficult levels. These boons enable you to multiply buildings in your inventory and swap out structures you’ve previously constructed. Additionally, there will be a new mode called High Score, along with Sandbox mode. The Sandbox mode offers unique building types, a Photo Mode for capturing screenshots, and integration with Twitch for live streaming gameplay.
Islanders: New Shores is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
