The individual known as Island Boys’ Kodiyakredd (also recognized as Franky Venegas) was apprehended once more, this occasion involving accusations of drug and firearm offenses in the city of Naples, Florida.
On Sunday, a 23-year-old musician specializing in rap music was taken into custody at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. He was accused of having an illegal controlled substance without a prescription and possessing an illegally modified firearm, as reported by TMZ.
It’s not entirely clear what events preceded Franky’s recent arrest, but it’s worth noting that this incident occurred just nine months following an attempt to impersonate his twin brother, Alex Venegas, as a means to avoid a reckless driving charge.
On May 24th, Venegas, known for his distinctive ‘vertical dreadlocks styled like a wick,’ was reportedly speeding through a parking lot in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in his yellow Corvette Stingray.
Last night, the individual adorned with multiple tattoos was detained in Broward County Jail following several charges. These included operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, providing a fake identity, and exhibiting reckless driving behavior. Upon posting an $800 bond, they were released.
In the month of May 2023, Franky, who is currently dating an OnlyFans model named Liv, was taken into custody due to charges of domestic battery. The accusations state that he physically harmed his girlfriend by slapping her and shoving her into a small swimming pool at an Airbnb in Pompano Beach. This violent act resulted in injuries to her chin.
But the misdemeanor case was dropped by prosecutors just 10 days later.
In the year 2022, Montaisha Shanell levied accusations against Venegas regarding domestic abuse, however, no official charges were brought forth.
In that very same year, law enforcement officers, specifically a SWAT team, searched and entered the home of the siblings, as they were seeking their old friend Andrew James Thomas. He was being pursued in connection with first-degree murder and firearm charges, following the tragic death of eight-year-old Ronziyah ‘Biggs’ Atkins during a drive-by shooting incident.
Franky’s long rap sheet also includes robbery, burglary, and car theft.
In 2021, Venegas and his brother, also known as Flyysoulja, gained widespread popularity with their hit track “I’m An Island Boy,” garnering an impressive 25 million views on YouTube.
The TikTok star currently commands $20 on Cameo and boasts 2.1M social media followers.
