Isla Fisher narrowly avoids ex Sacha Baron Cohen at Wimbledon as she arrives with handsome date after finalising divorce

On Sunday at Wimbledon, Isla Fisher managed to steer clear of her former spouse, Sacha Baron Cohen, upon her arrival with an attractive companion – following the conclusion of their divorce proceedings.

53-year-old English actor Sacha was spotted conversing with a spectator during the Gentlemen’s Singles Final at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

In the year 2001, Isla, aged 49, and Sacha began their relationship, which culminated in marriage in 2010. They recently announced that they have officially ended their £120million (approximately $250 million AUD) union on June 14.

The couple announced through simultaneous posts on their Instagram accounts that their divorce is now officially completed, stating: “We have finalized our divorce.

We take pride in everything we’ve accomplished jointly, maintaining our mutual admiration, we stay friends and dedicated to raising our fantastic kids as co-parents.

‘We ask for the media to continue to respect our children’s privacy.’

In the entertainment industry, their marriage was widely regarded as one of the most robust before they decided to part ways privately in the year 2023.

In April 2024, they made a public announcement about their separation. It seems they’ve worked through their disagreements peacefully since then.

According to a source, things have been finalized. Now, Sacha and Isla are simply eager to move forward with their lives, prioritizing the welfare of their family.

At the Champagne Lanson event held at Agapanthus Suite, an Australian actress was seen with a secretive gentleman companion by her side.

Island stood radiant next to the man, who affectionately placed an arm around her waist, while they both smiled gleefully for pictures, with the backdrop of the media barrier behind them.

Isla chose a complete set in cream, featuring a blouse layered beneath a jacket and a coordinating midi-skirt with pleats.

In a thrilling match that went to four sets, up-and-coming tennis star Jannik Sinner outplayed defending titlist Carlos Alcaraz to claim his inaugural Wimbledon championship.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I stepped out in style, donning a sleek pair of white leather patent high heels that added an elegant touch to my outfit. To complete the look, I paired them with stylish designer shades and a chic wicker handbag under my arm.

The attractive visitor harmonized with Isla, donning a crisp white shirt paired with a beige suit and sneakers.

He completed the look with a floral tie and like the actress, had on a pair of sunglasses.

At the gathering, the pair maintained a tight proximity to each other, and they even came together, with Isla slightly ahead, leading the way for her friend.

Last week, Isla radiated joy as she exuded elegance in a floral gown with an eye-catching design, making her entrance on the first day of the Wimbledon Championships.

In the year 2001, this pair, who share three offspring, initially encountered each other at a gathering held in Sydney, Australia.

Speaking of their first encounter, Sacha recalled quickly noticing Isla was ‘hilarious’.

He recalled: ‘At an ostentatiously fancy gathering, I connected with her by poking fun at others in attendance.’

‘I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did,’ he added.

The pair announced their separation last year with a picture of themselves wearing tennis whites.

In a follow-up note, they affirmed that after more than two decades of continuous play, it’s time for us to retire our tennis rackets.

Reflecting on our separation earlier this year, I must confess it has been one of the toughest challenges I’ve faced. Yet, amidst the hardship, I’ve discovered profound insights about my own self.

‘I never imagined my family being separated but we are committed and loving parents.’
