New information has surfaced about the luxurious Sydney hideaway, which Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen reportedly used as a temporary residence in Australia, well before their public separation last year.

As per the news, the duo is said to have paid approximately $100,000 every week for their grand waterfront residence, featuring five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Nestled in the affluent neighborhood of Darling Point, just 4 kilometers away from the city center, this grand five-story residence stands majestically by the water’s edge, offering breathtaking vistas of Double Bay.

Previously, a stunning 650-square-meter house served as their residence for the couple and their little ones prior to their relocation to Perth in 2021.

The mega mansion later sold in 2022 for an eye-watering $24 million. 

During those 14 years, the duo resided in both London and Los Angeles, yet despite living there, they never acquired any real estate in Australia, as suggested by an article on Realestate.com.au.

The Australian residence, crafted by esteemed architects BKH, showcases an underground, heated saltwater pool equipped with swim jets. On one edge, it’s accompanied by a beautiful floral mosaic on tiles.

Notable features also encompass an open layout that extends across the entire residence, several zones designed for leisure activities, and a terrace perfect for outdoor meals.

There’s also a spiral staircase and a lift, a wine room and three gourmet kitchens. 

Simultaneously, the primary bedroom offers a walk-in wardrobe and a spacious en-suite complete with a freestanding bathtub.

Additionally, there exists an independent area that functions as a ‘visitor suite’, complete with a personal bedroom and kitchenette for privacy.

Isla and Sacha shocked fans last April when the pair announced their split after marrying in 2010.

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that the esteemed Australian actress, now 48, swiftly navigated a smart real estate transaction following her divorce settlement with the venerable British actor, age 53.

In simpler terms, Isla put up for sale an Art Deco apartment that she owned prior to being with Sacha, located in Woollahra, Sydney, for a price of approximately $1.1 million in September.

Initially bought by the ex-Home and Away actor back in 1995 for $171,500, Isla had to reduce its price later due to market slowdown, as it’s a two-bedroom, one-bathroom property.

After the auction’s unfortunate cancellation, I revised the item’s estimated value by another $100,000, bringing it down to $990,000. Now, it’s back on the market for all eager buyers to consider.

During her involvement with big-budget Hollywood movies such as “Wedding Crashers” and “Confessions of a Shopaholic”, Isla also rented out her Sydney home as an investment property.

As a die-hard admirer, I find myself compelled to reflect on the story unfolding before me. Isla and Sacha, once an inseparable duo, embarked on separate paths in 2023, officially parting ways in their personal journey. They are the proud parents of two daughters and a son who they skillfully manage to keep away from the limelight, ensuring their childhood remains as private as possible.

In the year 2001, they had their initial encounter as a pair. They officially became spouses ten years later, in the year 2010. Regrettably, they separated not long after moving their household to Australia.

Isla is believed to be looking for a home in North London.

According to recent reports shared with Alison Boshoff from various sources, she is said to have a property budget of approximately AUD$24 million and is currently searching for homes in the neighborhood of Hampstead.

The pair finalised their divorce in June.
