iShowSpeed’s trip to the Philippines was hilariously bonkers
As a long-time follower of iShowSpeed, I can confidently say that his latest adventure in Southeast Asia was nothing short of electrifying! From challenging Manny Pacquiao to a boxing match (and getting knocked out by a single punch) to going berserk after trying the Filipino dish balut, Speed’s antics never fail to amuse and entertain.
The popular streamer had quite the adventure exploring the Philippines.
Known YouTube personality and live streamer, iShowSpeed, recently embarked on an extensive tour through the Philippines and other Southeast Asian locations for a grand live streaming event, sharing his unique experiences in that part of the world. His journey, however, was filled with laughter-inducing incidents, many of which were captured and shared on his stream.
Here is a recap of iShowSpeed’s trip to South-East Asia.
Filipino boxer, Manny Pacquiao, knocks iShowSpeed out with single punch
Is it believable to you that iShowSpeed tried to fight one of the greatest boxers ever? Given what we know about him, it might not surprise you much. In fact, he’s been trying to take on a variety of athletes recently.
Speed possesses both athletic prowess and an entertaining flair, making him quite unique. He skillfully blends these abilities, resulting in viral videos that captivate audiences. During his time in the Philippines, he dared Manny Pacquiao, a renowned boxer, to a fight. However, it didn’t take long before the streamer was knocked out by Pacquiao.
As Manny Pacquiao engaged in combat with his opponent, a crow looked on from nearby, witnessing Pacquiao giving Speed several strikes before he retaliated with a powerful body punch. This single blow sent the live streamer crashing to the ground almost immediately.
Speed lay there a moment in agony as the crowd surrounding him went crazy.
As soon as everyone got to ten, it was clear that Speed had been defeated in the boxing match. However, was there ever really any expectation that he would emerge victorious?
iShowSpeed goes berserk after trying traditional Filipino dish
While exploring different nations, one delightful aspect is savoring local culinary specialties. Yet, it can be advantageous to have a basic understanding of the ingredients beforehand, especially if you have sensitivity issues about certain foods.
For iShowSpeed, one Filipino dish had him losing his mind.
In the Philippines, a notable delicacy called balut is widely recognized. Balut refers to a partially developed egg embryo that has been boiled or steamed before consumption, which is typically consumed straight from its shell.
And yes, the baby duck is still inside it.
In the Philippines, this dish is quite common and usually delicious, but for someone like Speed, who knew nothing about it, his response to it seems perfectly reasonable.
Speed exclaimed, “Oh my goodness! It’s like I just ate a chicken!” He became alarmed upon discovering a balut egg contained something other than poultry. A member of the crowd approached him to clarify the dish, explaining that it was actually a duck, not a chicken.
In a state of excitement amidst the thrilled crowd, Speed exclaimed, “I can sense its structure like bone!” Then, with the audience’s cheers echoing in his ears, he proceeded to complete his culinary creation.
In a casual, conversational style: It appears that these kinds of events are quite commonplace for the streamer. Ranging from facing hostility in Norway to squaring off with a renowned boxer in the Philippines, Speed’s life is filled with an abundance of thrilling experiences.
