During his recent live broadcast, iShowSpeed shared his experience as he embarked on a path towards becoming a Shaolin monk in China. His stream began with him gathering his nerves right outside the temple’s entrance before washing his hands at its threshold.

Following that, I delved into the art of crafting incense offerings. Draped in a robe, I immersed myself further in my training. Before diving into kung fu with my elder peers and younger companions, I engaged in a brief jog. Additionally, I honed my skills in archery and attended a live stage performance.

Wholesome moments from iShowSpeed’s Shaolin training

During the livestream, there were several heartwarming instances too. For instance, iShowSpeed supported and motivated a young pupil learning the Pu Bu stance from Master Liang. Moreover, towards the end of the broadcast, iShowSpeed expressed gratitude towards his martial arts master by trying to offer him some money.

In Chinese, Master Liang expressed that he would not accept payment from iShowSpeed for his lessons. Being friends from both China and America, he had no desire for compensation. Instead, he proposed that the money might be used to benefit the children instead.

iShowSpeed joined Master Liang and fellow students for a photo op as well. One of these images featured everyone saying “青苹果,” or “green apple” in our language. With that photograph, the content creator’s path towards becoming a Shaolin monk reached its conclusion.
