It appears that Isabel May, famed for her portrayal of Elsa Dutton in the Western dramas 1883 and its follow-up 1923, is said to be joining the cast as Sidney Prescott’s daughter in the upcoming film Scream 7. The company responsible for producing Scream 7 is Spyglass Media Group, while Paramount Pictures will handle its distribution. The creator of Scream, Kevin Williamson, plans to direct the movie from a screenplay penned by Guy Busick. Together with James Vanderbilt, Busick developed the film’s storyline. It’s expected that production for this horror sequel will commence in December.
