Isabel Lucas Stuns in Ethereal Dress at Fashion Week Amid Covid Vaccine Controversy Comeback
At Australian Fashion Week on Wednesday, Isabel Lucas embodied an otherworldly elegance in her appearance.
Previously known for her role on “Home and Away,” now 40 years old, displayed her slender silhouette while attending the Aje fashion event held at the Pier Pavilion in Barangaroo.
At the highly awaited runway event, Isabel’s flowing dress swayed gracefully with the wind, causing many to turn their heads as she strolled among the crowd.
In a warm-toned mini dress, the tall model showcased her slender legs prominently, complementing her look with this year’s AFW standard – a pair of knee-high boots, often referred to as 2025’s uniform.
She shone brilliantly while adorning her long, golden tresses over her shoulders and down her back, fastening her hair away from her face using two hairpins, highlighting her effortless, sun-kissed makeup style.
As an overjoyed fan, I couldn’t help but seize the opportunity to snap a photo alongside the radiant Aussie star and fellow model Jessica Gomes. She chose a laid-back ensemble, sporting light-washed denims paired with a chic leather shirt neatly tucked into her pants.

On Tuesday, Isabel made her debut at Australian Fashion Week following a COVID-19 controversy that kept her out of sight for some time.
The Australian actress and model, who garnered attention several years back due to her decision not to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, captivated everyone’s attention as she gracefully shone in a sleek, satin gown of vibrant green color.
The midi-length dress boasted a modest neckline while accentuating the model’s slender physique.
She matched a vibrant-hued dress with a set of black knee-high boots and a $15,600 Chanel bag.
In 2023, Isabel talked about her choice not to get vaccinated, confessing that she understood it might potentially affect her employment prospects for several years.
In an interview with Stellar magazine, she mentioned that she received multiple vaccinations during her childhood years. However, she decided against getting vaccinated for COVID-19.
She expressed that something suitable for one person might not apply to another, and it’s wrong if either of us is denied the liberty to make our own choices.
As an ardent enthusiast, I’m compelled to express that the bond we share with our physical selves is profoundly intimate and intricate, mirroring the depth of our decisions. We strive to foster dialogues on acceptance and variety – embracing aspects like gender, faith, sexuality, ethnicity – yet it seems we neglect to extend this openness to our individual beliefs and perspectives in this context.

‘The diversity of choice is yet to be included, in my experience.’
In November 2021, Isabel said that she was ‘pro-choice’ when it came to the Covid vaccine.
Later on Instagram, she made clear that her comments were about the compulsion to get vaccinated, not the act of vaccination itself.
During that period, the star was among several hundred individuals who gathered for a demonstration to voice their opposition to the mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations along the New South Wales-Queensland border.
