The HUF brand is extending its winning streak with another collaborative collection. Known for its support of Stax Records, as demonstrated in their earlier collaboration with the record company back in March, the iconic skate label from Los Angeles is once again expressing its passion for music. This time, it’s channeling the discography of soul visionary artist Isaac Hayes into a flood of graphics for this new capsule.
The distinctive extended pieces by Hayes serve as the foundation for the innovative dual-concept aesthetic of the latest apparel collection, encompassing heavyweight hoodies, graphic t-shirts, a custom sweater, and a six-panel snapback. Elements from “Black Moses” and “Live at the Sahara Tahoe,” along with “Hot Buttered Soul,” are woven throughout the collection of blue-tinted clothing items, blended with fresh interpretations of Hayes’ own reworked images.
Check out the collaboration between Isaac Hayes and HUF showcased in the lookbook up top. The collection is set to go on sale through the official HUF website starting this coming Thursday, August 14.
