Is the Oasis hype dying out? Tickets are being resold for just £20 for their upcoming Australian tour dates

Tickets for Oasis’s upcoming tour are being resold in Australia for as little as £20, which might indicate that initial excitement surrounding the band’s reunion is fading.

The Gallagher brothers made a triumphant return to the UK, with their concerts selling out immediately and becoming the most sought-after tickets in major cities.

Tickets were resold for much higher prices, sometimes reaching £7,000, especially for popular shows at venues like Wembley Stadium.

But the situation is different in Australia, where many tickets are still available for purchase, both officially and through resale platforms, before the concert tomorrow.

You can find tickets for as little as £20 on Viagogo, though the best seats near the stage cost around £163 each.

Okay, so you guys are probably as shocked as I am, but somehow, somehow there are still tickets available! I mean, the Melbourne and Sydney shows completely sold out, it was insane! They had to add a whole extra show in Melbourne just because demand was so high. Seriously, I thought there was no way I’d get to see them, but it looks like there’s a tiny bit of hope now! I’m checking constantly, obviously.

Tickets were in incredibly high demand, with reports of pre-sale queues reaching hundreds of thousands of people. This overwhelmed Ticketmaster, leading to a sell-out and the cancellation of thousands of tickets purchased by bots.

The band has consistently been popular in Australia, with two of their albums – (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? and Be Here Now – hitting number one on the Australian charts.

The band has gained a strong following thanks to both a large community of British expats and widespread enjoyment of their music.

Oasis tribute band, Wonderwall, will kick off their Australian tour with shows at Marvel Stadium on October 31st, November 1st, and November 4th.

They will then head to Sydney for shows at the Accor Stadium on November 7 and 8.

It will be the first time the band has toured the country since 2005.

Oh my gosh, they’re HUGE in Australia! I mean, two of their albums actually went to number one – can you believe it?! And ‘Wonderwall’? Forget about it! That song was everywhere in 1996, straight to the top of the charts. It was the soundtrack to my life, honestly!

The band revealed last year they were getting back together for the first time since 2009, after Noel and Liam resolved their long-standing disagreement.

As a lifestyle expert, I saw the internet practically explode when the tickets went on sale! It was amazing – and a little chaotic – to watch fans across the UK rush to grab a chance to see their favorite band live. It was a total buying frenzy, honestly!

Honestly, it was a disaster! As soon as the Oasis reunion tour dates went live, I – like so many other die-hard fans – tried to get tickets. Seventeen dates across the UK, and they vanished in, like, hours! The whole online system was a mess, and so many of us were left completely empty-handed. It was heartbreaking, seriously. I still can’t believe how quickly it all sold out!

Approximately 14 million fans waited in line for up to eight hours trying to buy tickets to see the band perform live, but many were ultimately unsuccessful.

Although some fans were able to get tickets at face value, many others had to pay a lot more – sometimes nearly double the original price – because ticket costs increased rapidly due to a dynamic pricing system.

The band became famous in the 1990s, but after many years of success, a fight backstage in Paris led to their breakup in 2009, leaving fans heartbroken.

Noel stated he would never collaborate with Liam again, famously comparing him to ‘a fork in a world of soup,’ which sparked a long-lasting disagreement between them.

For the past 14 years, the brothers have been locked in a public and hostile dispute, exchanging harsh words through interviews and on social media.

According to PJ Harrison’s book, In The Fall And Rise Of Oasis, sources say that despite their disagreements, the Gallagher brothers still have a strong affection for each other.
