Barry Myrden, known as ‘Bear’ on The Golden Bachelor, is nearing the end of his journey to find love. The final five women are competing to win his heart and receive the final rose.
One contestant on the show is now considered the most likely to win, after photos surfaced showing her spending time away from the other participants.
The Daily Mail has published photos of 61-year-old Bachelor star, filmed at the Sydney Opera House with host Samantha Armytage and his final five contestants: Jan, Janette, Kim, Sunny, and Gera.
The women were beaming as they strolled past the famous Australian landmark, thrilled to be among the final five competing for the Golden Bachelor’s affection.
However, Janette appeared to be left out by the group as she trailed behind.
The 61-year-old owner of a Pilates studio, and the first person to go on a date with Bear at the start of the show, seemed distant from the other contestants, suggesting she and Bear have a particularly strong connection.
For the shoot, Janette chose a cheerful, short floral dress, which she wore with a denim jacket and cowboy boots.
She quickly tied her blonde hair up, revealing her smooth, unlined face and bright smile as she followed the other women.
According to a recent Daily Mail report, a somewhat uncomfortable interaction between Bear and Janette during a group date was cut from the final edit of the show.
I was so thrilled to see those photos! It showed our main guy carrying the most popular character as they headed to the river before the big Golden SUPBall Championship. They were all out camping, and it just felt like such a sweet moment before the competition began.
A wide smile stayed on her face as she hugged Bear tightly, and he gave her a piggyback ride.
During the episode, Janette suffered an injured knee and was forced to sit out of the challenge.
Although Bear was filmed helping her to the river while the other contestants watched, that part wasn’t included in the final show.
It was clear that the two had a connection, especially during the Golden Bachelor’s first date in the show’s second episode.
Let me tell you, things got a little steamy on set recently! Bear decided to take a dip and, well, he ended up revealing a tattoo on his lower back that nobody knew about – while splashing around with Janette, of course. It was definitely a surprise moment!
At one point, she could be seen placing her hand on Bear’s back and checking out the ink.
They were having a romantic picnic on the beach as the sun set, and then, on a whim, they both ran into the ocean after Bear took off his shirt.
After a quick dip in the water, Bear and Janette strolled along the beach, still wet from their swim.
They later shared a romantic kiss on the beach.
