People are speculating that Romeo Beckham and his former girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, might be getting back together. This comes after Romeo, who rarely interacts with her social media, liked one of Kim’s Instagram posts – something he hasn’t done in half a year.
The couple separated in April during a family dispute involving the Beckhams. This added strain to their relationship, as Brooklyn, 26, and his wife, Nicola, 30, allegedly blamed Kim, 24, for the conflict.
With the family disagreement now calmed down and reports suggesting Brooklyn Beckham doesn’t want to reconnect with his parents, it seems Romeo, 23, and Kim are starting to rebuild their relationship.
This is the first time Romeo has publicly responded to anything his former girlfriend has posted online since their breakup in April.
Friends say David and his partner ended their seven-month relationship about three weeks after he turned 50.
According to friends who spoke with the Daily Mail at the time, the split was friendly, and wasn’t caused by Nicola Peltz accusing Kim of starting the conflict that’s caused problems within the Beckham family.
According to a source, David and Victoria Beckham are upset by any suggestion that Nicola and Brooklyn’s relationship caused a rift between them, as that’s not true at all.
Kim and Romeo both have demanding careers that involve a lot of travel, making it difficult for them to maintain a relationship right now.
The disagreement started when Nicola said she felt uneasy around Kim. People close to Kim have also shared that she and Brooklyn dated as teenagers.
Kim comes from a creative family. Her grandfather, William Turnbull, was a famous sculptor and painter after World War II. Her father, Alex Turnbull, and uncle, Johnny, were in the post-punk band 23 Skidoo, which formed in 1979.
Kim and Brooklyn were definitely close friends for a while, as pictures show, but sources say rumors of a romantic relationship are untrue.
Kim denied the rumors herself, stating, ‘I have never had a romantic relationship with this person, at any time.’
