Is Mission: Impossible 8 the end of the series? Tom Cruise gives cryptic response
Tom Cruise, known for his role in Mission: Impossible, has offered a mysterious hint about whether The Final Reckoning, the eighth movie, marks the end of the series.
On May 21st, the newest movie unfolds with the protagonist, Hunt, along with his IMF comrades, embarking on a critical operation to thwart Gabriel (Esai Morales) and an artificial intelligence entity.
Previously, it was announced that the seventh films, titled “Dead Reckoning” and “The Final Reckoning“, were expected to bring a conclusion to the series, signifying the end of Ethan Hunt’s (Cruise) exciting journey.

However, during a conversation at the Cannes Film Festival with the franchise’s creator, Christopher McQuarrie, Cruise chose not to reveal any details about the franchise’s upcoming plans.
He expressed that he prefers for people to view it and appreciate it, as we had an incredible time creating it and it was a blast, and he hopes everyone will find enjoyment in it too, according to Variety.
“Enjoy this and know everything is the culmination has come to this moment right now.”
Speaking highly of his long-term partner, Cruise added: “It surpassed all we hoped for. It’s truly been an honor and a joy. I eagerly anticipate creating numerous other types of films together. I’m thrilled at the prospect!
The pair additionally discussed the daring stunts from the movie, as McQuarrie revealed just how dedicated Tom Cruise is to personally execute the perilous tasks.
As a gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: “Tom proposed, ‘I dream of floating weightless between an aircraft’s wings’, and the seasoned pros who make such feats possible, part of a long-standing tradition, swiftly denied my request. They thankfully excused themselves, and we moved on to seek other opinions.
Cruise stated: “Go ahead and do it without asking for permission first. Don’t put off action until everything is flawless because perfection rarely exists. Films, people, and life itself are not perfect. However, it’s crucial that you take the plunge, and it’s generally better to act than wait.
The leading actor of Top Gun shared his sentiment about not experiencing fear during stunts, instead expressing his enjoyment for any venture in life.
He expressed that he’s never been afraid of the unfamiliar, instead finding it intriguing. It’s more of an exciting sensation to him. It’s not something that intimidates or bothers him.
