Is Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s dream still alive? Embattled radio star visits her half-finished $13.25 million mansion – as her future on the airwaves remains in limbo

Although there’s some uncertainty about what’s next for radio personality Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, she seemed focused as usual when she checked on the progress of her new house on Wednesday.

Jackie looked very concentrated while at a meeting this morning at the construction site for her $13.25 million home overlooking the cliffs in Clovelly.

The 51-year-old checked on how the construction of the high-end home was going, along with architect Madeleine Blanchfield and the building crew.

She frequently stopped to take pictures of the large seaside estate with her phone, as a $5 million renovation project is happening there.

Construction seems to be continuing as planned, even though there’s uncertainty about how much money Jackie will make now that her $100 million deal with KIIS FM has ended.

The popular radio host still had eight years remaining on her contract, with a balance of $88 million to be paid. The deal was very lucrative, earning her $10 million annually.

Before signing her deal with ARN, Jackie reportedly made $5 million annually, and her wealth in 2025 was estimated to be between $10 million and $50 million.

The star joked in 2025 that she would have to ‘ask her accountant’ how much she was worth.  

Henderson recently sold her previous home in Woollahra for an impressive $13 million.

Okay, I’ve been following this project so closely, and it’s finally happening! They’re really making progress on that incredible oceanfront house. Robert Plumb Build and Madeleine Blanchfield Architects are doing amazing work – you can finally see the whole structure rising up, this huge, multi-level concrete thing. But the best part? That pool! You can totally see the curve now, and it’s even more breathtaking than I imagined. I’m seriously obsessed!

The property, with its beautiful ocean views, had an old six-bedroom house from the 1960s torn down. This created a large, clear space ready for a major construction project.

The house is located away from the road, giving Henderson the privacy she lacked at her previous home on a busy street.

I was so excited to hear that Henderson finally bought a new place! She did amazingly well selling her old home in Woollahra – she made a fantastic $2 million profit! She originally bought that house back in 2020 for $11 million, so it’s great to see such a good return on her investment.

She posted pictures last year of herself with the construction workers, playfully labeling one ‘Site meeting’.

This follows the recent end of The Kyle and Jackie O show, which concluded last week due to a public disagreement between its hosts, Kyle Henderson and Jackie Sandilands.

Henderson hasn’t been at work since February 20th, after Sandilands, 54, said she wasn’t concentrating on her job.

While arguing on live television, Henderson became emotional and started crying when the conversation turned to Prince Andrew.

Sandilands got angry at her when she proceeded to read out the disgraced royal’s birth chart.

He lambasted his co-star, claiming that her love for astrology was affecting her work.

An emotional Henderson said she was deeply ‘offended’ by his brutal comments during the clash.

People were surprised to learn that Henderson’s $100 million contract was cancelled after she informed company leaders she could no longer work with Kyle Sandilands. This came after Sandilands made critical comments on the air last month that visibly upset her.

Gemma Henderson clarified through her manager, Gemma O’Neill, that she hadn’t resigned or quit her job. She expressed deep sadness at the potential cancellation of the show and said she was surprised by the news of her departure.

Sandilands has been temporarily removed from his position and has 14 days to fix the issue that led to his suspension. If he doesn’t, he could be fired.

ARN sent a written notice to Sandilands, informing him that his actions on the February 20th show were considered a serious violation of the agreement between ARN and Quasar Media.

ARN has offered Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the network.

Sources say Henderson and Sandilands are talking regularly again, fueling rumors they’re hoping to rejoin The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

News.com.au reports that Kyle Sandilands received a message from Jackie Henderson last week. This came after reports that Sandilands felt let down by their employer, ARN, following a disagreement on air that resulted in his suspension and the end of Henderson’s contract.

Once Sandilands and Henderson started talking, they discovered ARN had previously told each of them that the other person didn’t want to communicate.

‘They both realised, like, “Why aren’t we allowed to talk to each other?”‘ a source said. 

The report also states this meeting happened before Henderson publicly clarified last Friday that she hadn’t quit or resigned from the radio program.

According to a source, Sandilands believes ARN took advantage of Jackie O’s emotional state. Both Sandilands and Henderson reportedly feel they were treated unfairly by the company.

News came out on Monday that the two were aiming to rejoin The Kyle and Jackie O Show as a duo.

I’m so excited to hear that Kyle and Jackie are talking about getting back on the radio! A source told The Daily Telegraph they both really want to do it, and honestly, I’ve been hoping for this for ages. They’re a legendary duo, and I can’t wait to hear them back on air.

‘The ball will be in ARN’s court as to how this goes forward,’ the source alleged.

I’m hearing that Kyle Sandilands is getting his legal team ready to take action against ARN if they try to end his $100 million contract. Apparently, this is all happening because his show recently fell apart, and he’s not taking the possibility of being cut loose lightly.

On Tuesday, Sandilands publicly stated that ARN had silenced him, preventing him from communicating with Henderson or his coworkers.

ARN informed me that I’m prohibited from contacting Jackie, and also from speaking with my coworkers. I complied with these requests, even though it prevented me from doing what anyone in my role would naturally do – communicating with the person I’ve consistently relied on throughout my career, as I always have.

ARN fired Jackie and suspended me from my job on the very same day they claimed I had violated company policy. Throughout this, I was instructed to remain silent and not discuss the situation, which clearly wasn’t a fair or honest procedure.

He admitted Henderson had mentioned being upset, but he maintained they always handled conflicts between themselves, away from public view.

I won’t pretend this is an easy situation. Jackie told me she was hurt, and I respect her feelings. We’ve had conflicts before, but we’ve always been able to resolve them as partners do – without needing lawyers or public statements. I believe we could have done the same this time if ARN had allowed us to try.

My current contract with ARN runs until 2034, and I intend to honor it. Despite any claims to the contrary, I haven’t violated the terms of the agreement. Ultimately, I want to continue broadcasting, connect with my listeners, and keep doing the work I’ve dedicated my career to.

I’m urging ARN to keep its promise and allow me to continue focusing on what I’m good at – entertaining the fans who have supported the show for over twenty years.
