Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan had a storybook romance that began in 2006 while filming the popular movie Step Up.

The pair played love interests Tyler and Nora and began dating shortly after filming wrapped.

Channing and Jenna connected on set, and their on-screen spark turned into a real-life romance. They got married in 2009, when Channing was 29 and Jenna was 28, and welcomed their daughter, Everly, in 2013.

The announcement of their split in 2018 came as a surprise to many in the entertainment industry, as they had always seemed like a devoted and happy couple.

During their drawn-out and difficult divorce, Jenna began a relationship with actor and singer Steve Kazee, and they now have two children together. Meanwhile, Channing has been linked to several other well-known and attractive women.

Singer Jessie J recently released a new song where she harshly criticized him, calling him a ‘beast’ and predicting he’ll eventually face consequences for his actions.

I’ve been following Channing Tatum’s life since he and Jenna Dewan split, and it’s been interesting to see him explore things. They married young, and after their divorce, it feels like he’s really embracing new experiences – first with Jessie, then Zoe Kravitz, and now, reportedly, Inka Williams, who’s a model. Jessie publicly criticized her ex-boyfriend, Channing, calling him cruel and predicting he would eventually face consequences in a new, harsh song.

Jessie J, 37, is releasing her new album, ‘Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time,’ this Friday. This comes after she returned to making music while bravely battling cancer.

Jessie had a mastectomy in June to treat her breast cancer, but she later shared with her fans that she would need another surgery.

People are saying her new songs are about her ex, Channing Tatum, who she was with from 2018 to 2020.

In the song “Threw It Away,” Jessie reportedly called her ex-boyfriend a ‘beast,’ according to The Sun.

She sings about being vulnerable and offering her love, but feeling hurt when it wasn’t reciprocated. She believes that one day, the person who rejected her will face consequences for their actions.

Jessie later adds: ‘Don’t you dare rewrite the story. I’m the beauty, you’re the beast.’ 

I was at Jessie’s album listening party in West London recently, and while she didn’t say his name outright, it was pretty clear who inspired a lot of the songs – all signs pointed to Channing Tatum! She definitely let us all connect the dots.

She explained that she co-wrote the next song with Ryan Tedder in 2020, hinting that the lyrics reveal details about who she was seeing at the time.

Oh my gosh, I’ve been following them since 2018, and it’s been such a rollercoaster! They first got together, then broke up the next year, which was heartbreaking. But then, thankfully, they found their way back to each other in early 2020! It’s just… they’re always on and off, and I’m constantly checking for updates!

Jenna Dewan divorce spat 

Jenna and Channing finally reached a divorce settlement last September, resolving their legal dispute over the “Magic Mike” franchise.

For years, the former couple couldn’t reach an agreement because they disagreed about who owned certain creative work and how to share the profits from Tatum’s popular movie series.

While the specific terms weren’t revealed, the two parties reached a final and legally binding agreement to end the disagreement.

According to court documents, the couple has agreed that any future disagreements about their children will be resolved privately with a judge, rather than going to public court.

Both also mutually agreed to waive spousal support from one another.

In 2018, the couple announced they were separating with a message on social media. They explained that their decision wasn’t caused by any hidden issues or scandalous behavior.

Even though we’ve decided to go our separate ways, I want everyone to know that our feelings for each other haven’t changed at all. We still care deeply, but right now, life is leading us on individual journeys. It’s a bittersweet time, but we’re both excited to see where these new paths take us, and we’ll always cherish what we had.

Though Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan officially separated in November 2019, their divorce was delayed due to disagreements over the financial success of Tatum’s ‘Magic Mike’ franchise, which began with the popular 2012 film.

It’s interesting to learn that the actress, originally from Hartford, Connecticut, essentially funded the entire Magic Mike franchise – that’s two movie sequels, the HBO reality show Finding Magic Mike, and the hugely successful live show in Las Vegas – during her ten-year marriage. It really highlights how supporting a partner’s vision can lead to something big!

Channing Tatum and the director, Steven Soderbergh, both contributed financially to make the movie. The story draws heavily from Tatum’s personal experiences working as a stripper in Florida.

According to court filings by Samantha Spector, Dewan’s lawyer, Tatum’s attorneys are unfairly preventing Jenna from receiving what she’s owed from their shared assets, and the ongoing legal battle is continuing to harm her.

 Spector estimated the Magic Mike business is ‘a potential billion dollar asset.’

Jacqueline Combs, Tatum’s lawyer, stated that the Magic Mike movies largely became successful after Tatum and Dewan were no longer together.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen a lot of divorces, and this one’s interesting. Basically, the actor has stated under oath that he always intended for his ex-wife to share in the earnings from ‘Magic Mike.’ He’s saying he never objected to her receiving a portion of those proceeds.

The 44-year-old celebrity stated that she has always given her spouse their fair share of their joint property and earnings. She also refuted accusations that she secretly worked with others against her spouse, calling those claims untrue.

Throughout our marriage and since we separated, she has had full access to all of our financial information. I still keep her informed about the finances related to Magic Mike.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan share an 11-year-old daughter named Everly. They agreed to a 50/50 custody arrangement for her in February 2020 and have been following it ever since.

Zoe Kravitz relationship 

Actress Zoe, 36, and Channing broke off their engagement last October, only a year after announcing they would get married.

Channing and Zoë started dating after working together on Zoë’s first film as a director, a thriller called Blink Twice.

The breakup was especially surprising because they had recently become engaged, and just that September, Channing was seen with a new tattoo of Zoë’s initials on his hand.

The last time Channing and Zoë were photographed together was on September 3rd, in a post on Channing’s Instagram. The picture showed Zoë seemingly asleep on his bare chest while he took a selfie of them.

The Deadpool & Wolverine star playfully praised his partner in a post, sharing excitement for her new thriller, Blink Twice.

People started speculating about a relationship between Channing and Zoë in August 2021 after they were spotted together in New York City – he was biking and she was walking alongside him.

Rumors were at their peak in September when the pair were spotted leaving the Met Gala together, even though they hadn’t arrived or posed on the red carpet as a couple.

By Halloween, the two had gone official with their romance.

To show everyone they were a couple, they chose fun, coordinated costumes based on the classic movie Taxi Driver.

Relationship with 26-year-old model  

People first noticed Channing, 43, and Inka, 26, together in January when they were seen leaving a pre-Oscar party in Los Angeles.

The outing came just three months after Channing split from Zoe in October 2024.

A source told People at the time that the couple were ‘seeing’ each other on romantic terms.

‘They met through friends. She’s great. She’s young, but seems older,’ the insider said.

‘Channing’s doing well. [Inka] makes him happy.’

Inka was born in Melbourne and grew up in Bali. She successfully manages both a modeling career and her own fashion brand, She Is I.

Channing and Inka recently appeared together on a red carpet for the first time, following four months of publicly acknowledging their relationship on Instagram.

The couple attended the Los Angeles premiere of the anime movie, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle.

Just days before, Channing shared a gushing birthday tribute to his newly minted ladylove.

A video taken by Inka showed the Australian actress riding on the back of a dirt bike driven by Channing.

A bikini-clad Inka gave the camera a stoic expression as she held onto her beau for safety.

Channing captioned the clip: ‘Happiest day of birth to my RIDER! Love you so.’

He also posted a black and white photo of Channing sweetly kissing Inka on the cheek while wearing a beanie.

Another clip showed Inka excitedly diving into the ocean, with Channing adding: ‘Love you stoopid’. 

Inka expressed a similar feeling in April when she publicly revealed her relationship with Channing on Instagram with a sweet birthday message.

The post featured a collection of previously unpublished romantic photos from throughout their relationship.

Inka wrote a message to the person she loved, calling them the handsomest, kindest, funniest, and most wonderful person she knew, even playfully calling them ‘stoopidest’ as a term of endearment.

Oh my gosh, she actually said ‘Merci for making life beautiful and fun!’ It’s just… everything. And then she finished with ‘Jtm trop fort!’ – I immediately looked it up, and it basically means ‘I love you SO much!’ Seriously, my heart is going to explode. She’s the absolute best, and knowing she feels that way… it’s just perfect!

Inka also declared her love for Channing in March – albeit in a very unique way.

The picture seemed to feature Inka’s leg and a message, likely intended for her boyfriend, who stars in Magic Mike.

It had the words ‘I love you’ scrawled across it in what appeared to be a white pencil.

The word ‘love’ was replaced with an expertly drawn heart.
