Is Amy Nuttall's marriage with cheating husband Andrew Buchan on the rocks AGAIN? Actress ditches her wedding ring the day after their 12th anniversary

As someone who has been following Amy Nuttall’s career and personal life for quite some time now, it seems that her relationship with Andrew Buchan is once again going through turbulent waters. After three attempts to make things work, one can’t help but wonder if this love story is destined for a happy ending or if it’s more like a never-ending soap opera.

Speculation swirls that Amy Nuttall’s marriage with husband Andrew Buchan may be facing difficulties once more.

42-year-old Emmerdale actress was spotted without her wedding ring and appeared emotional during an outing on a day following their 12th wedding anniversary.

Previously, Amy had accepted Andrew, who is 45 years old, for a third time, even though he left her to live with his TV colleague Leila Farzad last year.

According to photos from The Sun, Downton Abbey’s leading actress sported a laid-back look in a light-blue padded coat and matching denim jeans. Interestingly, her wedding ring was missing.

TopMob have contacted both Amy and Andrew’s representatives for comment.

In December 2022, Amy and Andrew separated after Andrew chose to be with his co-star Leila from Better, a relationship that was later confirmed in February 2023.

However, mere weeks subsequent, Leila reconnected with her spouse, James Maizels. Meanwhile, Andrew resumed ties with his family. According to The Sun, the actor shared with a confidant, “We’re mending.

It was asserted in July that upon their reunion, Amy had established seven stringent guidelines for her husband to adhere to, with the intention of reigniting their relationship.

The seven guidelines encompassed sharing unrestricted access to each other’s mobile devices, scheduling a weekly date night, and planning a vacation for two every seven months.

According to The Sun, it appears that Amy insists on regular weekly dates and open phone access between them, while strictly avoiding any contact with co-workers outside of work.

It was reported Andrew would also need to keep in contact via FaceTime when he’s working away.

As a lifestyle authority, I’d rephrase that statement as follows: “Despite initial doubts, I myself have chosen to make another attempt – just like Amy.” This way, the sentence is in first person and maintains the original meaning while sounding more conversational and easy to read.

Amy isn’t keen on ending over ten years shared, yet she’s not someone who yields easily.

‘They will adopt the 777 approach which means every seven days you go on a date, every seven weeks you go away for the night and every seven months you go away on holiday just the two of you.’

According to reports, the 777 strategy encompasses about three rules, while the fourth rule emphasizes that their contributions should be equally balanced.

It was in June that rumors started circulating that Amy and Andrew had reconciled, as Andrew was spotted exiting their family house while wearing his gold wedding ring.

At approximately the same moment, Amy was seen on the premises, noticeably without her wedding ring. However, sources hinted that they might be attempting a reconciliation again.

According to a trusted confidant, The Sun reported that Amy was deeply saddened upon discovering the infidelity and desired a clean separation and new beginning.

‘But Andrew has come back to her and promised to change.

They’ve been addressing their issues together and making efforts to move past the complications of the love triangle, focusing on their family bond instead.

In simpler terms, they reconciled, but it’s said that the ex-Emmerdale actor separated from his partner once more in August 2023. This reportedly occurred because he didn’t abide by the seven guidelines she had established to strengthen their marriage.

During that period, it was reported that ‘Devastated’ Amy decided to end their 11-year marriage and asked her husband to leave the shared family home where they resided with their two kids.

Initially, it appeared as though the couple had parted ways following reports of Amy’s alleged request for a divorce from her husband, Andrew, in March of the previous year, soon after rumors about their separation surfaced. However, it subsequently seemed that Amy may have reconsidered her decision.

Following their separation last August, as reported by The Sun, a source shared that Amy found it challenging yet felt hopeful enough to try again, taking a final shot at saving the marriage.

‘There is no suggestion he has cheated again, but as far as she is concerned this is it.’

Amy gained recognition by portraying Chloe Atkinson in Emmerdale between 2000 and 2005, and the housemaid Ethel Parks in Downton Abbey from 2011 up to 2012.

I am thrilled to share that I’ll be appearing on Channel 5’s upcoming six-part series, “The Feud.” This captivating show takes a dramatic look at families who find themselves at odds due to disputes over building permits within their neighborhood. It promises an engaging exploration of community dynamics and personal conflicts.
