Irwin fans demand Robert bring back one element from throwback photo with sister Bindi
As a dedicated fan with a heart full of nostalgia and admiration for the Irwin family, I can’t help but feel a pang of longing every time I see Robert’s modern hairstyle. Don’t get me wrong, he looks dashing now, but there’s just something irresistibly endearing about that bowl cut from his younger days. It was a symbol of innocence, of youth, and of the spirit of adventure that the Irwin family embodies.
Fans of Robert Irwin are urging him to resurrect his iconic bowl-cut hairstyle, following a throwback photo he shared on social media from his youth.
The response occurred following Robert, aged 20, posting an old photo on Instagram from 10 years ago showing him and his sister Bindi at Southbank in Brisbane.
In the backdrop of the iconic Wheel of Brisbane, Steve Irwin’s kids can be seen grinning at one another.
The initial image shows Robert, who’s 10 years old, significantly smaller than his elder sister. He also has a noticeable bowl haircut in this snapshot.
In the following slide, you’ll find a photograph that displays Robert’s significant growth, particularly his shorter, more styled haircut.
Fans took to the comments demanding a return to the old hairstyle.
One wrote a hashtag, ‘#bringbackthebowl’ which garnered over 700 likes.
Another fan echoed this sentiment: ‘Bring the bowl cut back!’

‘You should bring that haircut back,’ said someone else.
‘Bob, I’m sad about the haircut. I think you should go back to your bowl,’ another fan remarked.
‘I’m surprised you speak to your Mum after that hair appointment,’ joked another.

After news broke about Robert’s financial success following his signing of multiple high-paying presenting contracts, each worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, he finds himself reminiscing about the past. Moreover, he has agreed to take on various well-compensated presenting positions in the future.
One of Australia’s most sought-after performers, he currently presents Channel Ten’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia and heads up a Queensland tourism advertising initiative.
Apart from his television achievements, he’s expanding his horizons into advertising. He pocketed $200,000 for a sixty-second Twisties commercial and earned an equivalent amount for starring in a Queensland tourism advertisement featuring Bluey.
Additionally, he temporarily took over as host from Tom Gleisner on the humorous Channel Ten quiz show, Have You Been Paying Attention? This marks his third TV role following the Logies.
