You can now watch The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society – a charming British film with some well-known actors – on BBC iPlayer. It was shown on BBC Two last night, but it will only be available to stream for 29 days.
The movie centers around a popular writer who begins corresponding with a resident of Guernsey, an island that has just been occupied by Germany during World War II. Hoping to find inspiration for her next book, she travels to the island to meet him.
