Iron & Chains: Leaked details of the next LoL show after Arcane
Following the finale of the exceptional animation series, Arcane, details about its successor began surfacing swiftly. Just a few days after the final Act was released on Nov. 23, Christian Linke, one of Arcane’s producers, suggested that the next production we might see is linked to Noxus. Given the connections between Arcune and Noxus in the series, this wasn’t entirely unexpected.
Information about a potential new project connected to Noxus, following the highly-acclaimed animation series Arcane, quickly surfaced in public discourse just days after its final act was released on November 23. This intriguing revelation came from Christian Linke, one of the co-producers, who subtly hinted at this upcoming project. Given the cryptic references to characters like Swain’s bird and Beatrice in Arcane’s finale, it didn’t come as a complete surprise that the storyline might continue within the Noxus universe.
Although these details might not be fully confirmed yet, let’s add a ‘spoiler alert’ as a precaution if you prefer not to know anything before the official release. Keep this in mind.
Main characters
Contrary to popular belief, Swain won’t play the role of the main antagonist in Iron & Chains. Instead, leaks suggest that Swain and Mel will be the primary characters in the series. Additionally, a forthcoming book scheduled for release on February 18 promises to provide fresh insights into Medarda’s family history and Ambessa’s past.
In the game Iron & Chains, characters LeBlanc and Vladimir are expected to take on villainous roles. At the end of the League of Legends Welcome to Noxus cinematic, they were seen together. Some fans speculate that LeBlanc may be drawn to Swain’s powers. It remains to be seen which other champions from Noxus will make an appearance, as no details have been disclosed yet.
Iron & Chains: release date and episodes
Based on leaks, it is expected that the first season will consist of ten episodes. As of now, there’s no confirmed release date available. The leaker mentioned that the new team working on this project is significantly larger than the one behind Season 2 of Arcane, though they don’t have any details regarding the specific writers for the Noxus show yet. BigBadBear, a well-known leaker for League of Legends, has already shared his thoughts about it in a YouTube video.
