Last month, I had the heartwarming experience of exchanging vows with my beloved partner in a beautiful, romantic setting. Instead of waiting for a grander event, we opted to seal our union immediately and share our joyous moment with our followers on Instagram by posting a video, accompanied by these words: “Now husband and wife, looking forward to our future wedding celebration.
The video, accompanied by Martin Arteta’s song “Past Lives”, captures the moment the couple exchange their vows against a picturesque setting with a breathtaking seascape as the background.
The pair, who went public with their relationship in October 2021, looked happier than ever.
Their happy moment comes following Ioan’s messy split with Alice Evans.
In simple terms, Ioan and Alice Evans finalized their divorce in July 2023, but they continue to argue intensely about alimony, child custody, and financial assistance for their children, Ella (age 15) and Elsie (age 11).
During the court hearing on September 9th, Judge Josh Freeman Stinn approved a mutually agreed-upon contract. In this agreement, Ioan is required to pay $3,000 per month as temporary child support and an additional $1,500 per month as temporary spousal support. A more permanent support arrangement will be determined at another hearing scheduled for February 13th.

Ioan intended to summon Bianca as a witness for the February hearing, with the purpose of having her testify about how his ex-wife had been stalking, harassing, and abusing her. This behavior continued despite a three-year domestic violence restraining order (DVRO) that they obtained in August 2022, following a series of malicious text messages, emails, and social media posts directed at them as part of a campaign of hate.
John asserts that Alice has consistently behaved in a harmful and disparaging manner towards him, intending to intimidate and distress him, along with his partner Bianca Wallace. Moreover, he suggests that her actions were also designed to estrange their two children from him.
In the latest development, Ioan has stood firm against Evans’ requests for additional compensation, asserting that he has already exceeded his financial obligations by over $400,000 in spousal support as per their prenuptial accord. The box office success of their joint film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, with global earnings surpassing $403 million, serves as a testament to their professional partnership.
Previously, his court documents stated that her depiction of financial hardship was an overstatement, and he contended that the story portraying them as impoverished and without means was inaccurate or misleading.
Around two decades back, the pair first crossed paths on the filming location of “102 Dalmatians”. Over time, their bond blossomed into genuine affection and they tied the knot in Mexico in the year 2007.
In March of 2021, John initiated the process of ending his marriage, coming soon after Alice shared on social platforms that her spouse of fourteen years had left her and their two girls.
This past February, I found myself facing eviction from my Los Angeles residence due to an unfortunate inability to meet my rental payments.
The actress shared on Instagram that she and her daughters are struggling to find an affordable rental in the city due to their ongoing financial difficulties caused by her contentious legal battle with her former husband, Ioan.

Sharing a nostalgic photo, Alice posted it alongside her two girls, mentioning that they too are among the countless Angelenos looking for a fresh living space, as Los Angeles is still recovering from the devastating fires that occurred back in January.
After her contentious divorce from Ioan, it was believed that Alice had taken up residence in California with her two kids, renting a house there.
Previously this month, she established a personal Divorce crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe, amassing $18,828 thus far. However, she confessed her feelings of embarrassment about having to resort to such means.
However, in a heartening post on Instagram, Alice announced that they, along with her daughters and pet dog Emma, now possess a permanent residence. She expressed relief that they managed to keep their belongings, which she feared might be lost, and gratefully acknowledged the generous contributions from fans during a difficult time.
