Invincible season 3 lands Prime Video release date
As a die-hard fan of the Invincible series, I can hardly contain my excitement! After what felt like an eternity, season three finally has a release date – February 6, 2025, and I’m counting down the days like a kid on Christmas Eve! The teaser trailer alone had me grinning ear to ear, seeing Mark Grayson and Cecil Stedman back at Burger Mart.
Invincible season three has landed a release date.
Amazon’s Prime Video announced that the much-loved animated superhero show is slated for a comeback on our screens on the 6th of February, 2025.
In this fresh season, you’ll get the first three episodes all at once, with the rest being rolled out on a weekly basis.
As a gaming enthusiast, I recently got a sneak peek into the upcoming season of my favorite show, courtesy of their official X account. The teaser trailer showed none other than Mark Grayson (played by Steven Yeun) and Cecil Stedman (portrayed by Walton Goggins) having a chat at Burger Mart. They were discussing what Mark’s been up to since season two, leaving me on the edge of my seat, eagerly waiting for more!
During their discussion about insufficient preparations for potential future attacks, Cecil humorously comments on the lengthy hiatus that occurred during the show’s second season midway through.
He comments, “But let’s not dwell on your four-month break during the busy period, as it seems everyone found it quite enjoyable.
In November 2023, the second season of Invincible started with its initial episodes, but it wasn’t until March 2024 that the remaining episodes aired.
Previously in the year, it was verified by creator Robert Kirkman that characters such as Titan (played by Mahershala Ali) and Battle Beast (portrayed by Michael Dorn) would reappear in season three, having taken a break during the second season.
Meanwhile, Ben Schwartz later confirmed that his character Shapesmith will also return.
Talking about how Shapesmith’s character evolved in the final episodes of season two, the actor shared with ScreenRant: “Over the last four episodes, there’s a powerful confrontation where it becomes clear that Shapesmith is truly committed to the team, standing up for them.
I’m just as eager as you. He’s managed to dodge the fate of being written off yet, so I get to continue using him in the narrative until his character might no longer feature, though ideally, he’ll stick around for quite some time still.
Currently, you can stream seasons 1 and 2 of “Invincible” on Amazon Prime Video. And mark your calendars, as season 3 is set to premiere on February 6, 2024!
