Invincible renewed for season 4, might one day cross over with The Boys

As a long-time fan of superhero comics and shows, I’m thrilled to pieces about the latest developments surrounding “Invincible.” The second season left us hanging with unanswered questions and cliffhangers, but the good news is that production on seasons 2 and 3 happened simultaneously. We can expect new episodes sometime next year, and even better, Kirkman announced that we’ll be getting a season 4!

The second installment of “Invincible,” the fiercely violent and heartfelt superhero series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic books, concluded earlier in 2021. While fans may be concerned about a lengthy hiatus before more content, production on seasons 2 and 3 occurred simultaneously. Therefore, we anticipate new episodes to emerge around next year, ideally in the early part of it.

At the San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, Kirkman announced that “The Walking Dead” has been renewed for a fourth season! According to Variety, Kirkman shared that Season 2 built upon the foundations laid in Season 1, with higher stakes and more chaos. He teased that the larger stories begin to unfold in Season 3, but Season 4 will outdo it significantly in terms of craziness and intensity. Essentially, each season will be bigger, wilder, and more intense than the last, and things really ramp up starting with Season 3.

I feel like we’re just getting started. I’m very hopeful that this show can be around for awhile. With Season 4, we’re really hitting our stride. There’s really exciting stuff coming up in Season 4.

As a passionate gamer and avid fan of Kirkman’s work, I can’t help but get hyped up for the upcoming seasons of “The Walking Dead” TV show. And just like Kirkman, the mastermind behind “The Walking Dead” comics, has this uncanny ability to build anticipation before the actual event. If the series stays true to the source material, Mark Grayson’s storyline in seasons 4 and beyond will take an intriguing turn. He finds himself right in the middle of a war against the Viltrumites, an alien race known for their ruthless conquests of planets. Here’s the twist – Mark is actually part Viltrumite himself! It’s like a mind-bending what-if scenario: “What if Superman had a darker side?”

In this upcoming chapter, the story becomes even more ominous and intense than ever before. Consequently, Mark feels the need to adopt a new look that aligns with the ominous atmosphere. Before long, he will unveil his blue-and-black costume from the comic books, which has always been a favorite among fans.

Invincible renewed for season 4, might one day cross over with The Boys

There have “been chats” about Invincible crossing over with The Boys

Amazon Prime Video has emerged as an unofficial hub for gritty, humorous, and rebellious superhero series. Among these is “Invincible,” while “The Boys” has recently concluded its gripping fourth season.

Could there possibly be a fusion of the two in the days ahead? According to Kirkman, there have only been preliminary discussions on this matter.

It does seem like a fun thing. You got to see Homelander and Omni-Man fighting in ‘Mortal Kombat 1.’ That was cool. I think that’s something people would be interested in. Maybe someday we do something exciting, but there’s no plans as of yet.

It’s quite entertaining to imagine this situation unfolding. And if an authorized version doesn’t materialize, fans have taken the matter into their own hands, albeit with a warning for graphic and potentially disturbing animation.

As someone who has been an avid fan of both “Invincible” and “The Boys” since their inception, I’m thrilled to share my perspective on the release dates of new episodes for these beloved series.
