Stars dressed to impress at the 2026 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on Sunday, honoring the best in film and television.
Stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Selena Gomez, and Ariana Grande made appearances on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton before going inside to support the award winners.
One Battle After Another, Adolescence, The Pitt and Hamnet raked in awards during the evening.
While stars weren’t accepting awards on stage, they had a chance to chat with each other inside the large auditorium. Cameras captured some funny and surprising conversations.
Kylie Jenner was at the awards show to cheer on her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, who won Best Actor for his performance in Marty Supreme.
Lawrence unexpectedly joined the couple as they were sitting together at a table and started a conversation with them.
The actress from ‘Die My Love’ appeared to be leaning toward Jenner and Chalamet’s table while standing between them.
Lawrence moved to sit next to the beauty mogul and the two seemed to be enjoying themselves, both wearing large smiles.
Although we don’t know what they were talking about, Lawrence is known to enjoy reality TV, and Jenner currently stars in the Hulu show, The Kardashians.
I was so thrilled to see those two connect! It was clear they really hit it off, and they even took a cute, fun photo together – it was a lovely moment!
Between the awards being presented, guests mingled, enjoying drinks and appetizers brought to their tables.
Leonardo DiCaprio was sitting with his co-star Sean Penn when Kate Hudson apparently surprised him.
He seemed shocked when she gently touched his shoulders, instinctively bringing his hand to his mouth.
The actor subtly turned and looked up to see what had caught his attention. Hudson laughed at his surprised expression.
The funny incident was quickly forgotten when DiCaprio and Hudson took a memorable photo together later that evening.
Later in the evening, Timothée Chalamet briefly met Jennifer Lopez, and their hug seemed a little awkward amidst the crowd.
He put one arm around her waist, while his other arm hung loosely at his side, likely because the Beverly Hilton was so crowded.
The stars were still able to hold a quick conversation with each other during the festivities.
Chalamet then won the award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Film for his role in Marty Supreme, an award that Jennifer Lopez had just presented.
They walked backstage together, both smiling brightly, with him proudly carrying his award.
Owen Cooper also had a memorable evening, winning Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Adolescence.
At just 16 years old, he made history as the youngest person to win a Golden Globe for supporting actor, and he even got to meet George Clooney!
Clooney briefly touched Cooper’s shoulder in a friendly way before they posed for a picture together.
The teen was also seen posing for a photo with DiCaprio, who gave a thumbs-up to Cooper.
Timothée Chalamet and Kendall Jenner’s table attracted a lot of attention, and Elle Fanning even stopped by to chat with them.
Fanning previously co-starred with the actor in the 2024 movie A Complete Unknown.
The actress knelt beside the couple and they all chatted happily together.
Throughout the evening, Jenner enjoyed spending time with fellow guests at their table, including Odessa A’zion, who also appeared with Timothée Chalamet in the movie Marty Supreme.
Okay, so Kylie was being totally Kylie – all playful and silly in a new photo! She struck this hilarious pose and, get this, flipped off the camera! It was so her! But poor Travis just stood there, completely expressionless. Honestly, it was the contrast that made the whole thing even better. I’ve already screenshotted it like five times!
But the Dune actor later broke out into a big laugh when another guest approached their table.
Jenner exchanged a friendly embrace with Ariana Grande who also greeted the couple.
The actress from The Wicked smiled as she walked over to speak with Jenner and Chalamet.
The former Nickelodeon star met with famous director Steven Spielberg, and the two shared a warm hug.
Ariana Grande is currently starring in the film adaptation of Wicked, and recently appeared in its follow-up, Wicked: For Good.
Selena Gomez and her husband, Benny Blanco, looked very affectionate inside the event, and he sweetly kissed her shoulder at one moment.
Gomez recently met up with Miley Cyrus for a quick Disney Channel reunion, and they took a great photo together.
Miley Cyrus was known for her role on the Disney show Hannah Montana, and Selena Gomez starred as the lead in Wizards of Waverly Place.
Rhea Seehorn received the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her work on Pluribus.
