There’s never a dull moment in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

However, beyond the glamorous facade of the Vaucluse mansion soirees, Double Bay brunch gatherings, and Mimi’s lavish luncheons, there exists a more questionable underbelly in this exclusive social circle.

The feuds.

At glamorous gatherings, some high society individuals are frequently spotted showing off their affluence and prestige by linking arms. Yet, there are others who deliberately avoid sharing the same space with one another.

Over the past few months, I’ve noticed quite a bit of tension among the elite social circles by the waterfront. It seems like they’re going through some significant changes.

A trusted insider from our usual circle has disclosed some significant feuds, and these heated disagreements have definitely created a buzz…

Cartia Mallan and Ashton Wood

These social media personalities, often referred to as ‘Brisfluencers’, boasted a collective follower base surpassing one million in the city of Brisbane.

They constructed a prosperous domain by openly discussing topics ranging from their preferred intimate practices to their romantic tribulations across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and their podcast titled “Common Chaos.

However, in October, fans were left puzzled when the joint business project that Cartia and Ashton, based in London, had been developing, suddenly got cancelled without an explanation.

In just three short months following its debut, the Gen-Z celebrities’ trendy matcha tea brand, Highline, mysteriously vanished without any given reason.

For quite some time now, there have been whispers about the state of my beloved duo, Cartia and Ashton, often referred to as inseparable. However, I’ve just received some news that has left me surprised – it seems they’ve found themselves at odds due to a romantic entanglement.

According to a reliable source, Ashton renewed a friendship with Cartia’s former Australian boyfriend, Josh Heuston. This action was deeply hurtful for Cartia.

After their relationship with Josh concluded, Cartia felt deeply hurt. However, Ashton proved to be a constant source of support for her during this challenging time. In fact, Ashton’s presence became an essential lifeline for Cartia, drawing them even closer together. They ended up experiencing an exhilarating summer as single women and formed a strong bond during that period.

Ashton’s friendship with him left Cartia puzzled, and she couldn’t envision working together in their matcha company anymore. Of course, there were other contributing factors, but that was one of them.

Elle Salagaras and Cindy Kilian

For several years, Elle Salagaras, commonly recognized as ‘EasternSuburbsMum’ online, and Cindy Kilian, more famously known as ‘RegardingCindy’, shared a close friendship. However, their bond was recently strained about a few months back.

The conflict apparently started when one woman accused another of having assaulted her, which she found unacceptable in the response she received from her friend.

Although it’s impossible to definitively determine the truth in this he-said-she-said scenario, their decision to unfollow each other on Instagram seems to speak volumes about their current relationship status.

According to information received from our sources, it appears that Elle confided a private tale during a meal at a restaurant, only to find Cindy’s reaction unsatisfactory.

This was apparently the final straw for their friendship.

During that period, Elle shared her perspective on the matter within an episode of her podcast titled ‘Ellefluential’. She indirectly referred to the dispute without explicitly naming Cindy.

It was reported that she asserted she had been attacked at a restaurant, leading her friends to stop eating there. However, upon learning about the supposed event, Cindy made it clear she intended to keep patronizing the establishment, though its identity remains undisclosed due to legal constraints.

Ellie Aitken and Hollie Nasser

In the tail end of 2021, a surprising scandal unfolded within Sydney’s upper class, as it was revealed that Hollie Nasser was involved in an affair with Charlie Aitken, the spouse of her close friend Ellie. This revelation sparked the collapse of not one, but two marriages, creating a dramatic turn of events.

To make matters even more complex, it turned out that Charlie was involved in business deals with Hollie’s investment partner, Christopher J. Nasser (also known as CJ).

In May 2022, the romantic relationship between Hollie and Charlie ended officially as she announced their separation in a public statement.

She shared that her personal life revolves around her daughters, as she has opted out of romantic relationships for now.

Over the last nine months, things have been extremely challenging for me. I’ve already offered my sincere apologies to both my family and those who were impacted by these circumstances.

Later on, Hollie found herself in a short-term relationship with finance executive James Hodgman. Their romantic journey began at a racing event in November 2022.

However, their affection didn’t last long as Hodgman found himself entangled in an incident in the eastern suburbs, known as a brouhaha, in February 2023. This event is believed to have caused the breakup.

Victoria Montano and Martine Chippendale 

Recently, the significant rift that occurred between the Real Housewives of Sydney stars, Victoria Montano and Martine Chippendale, has caused a major stir in the eastern part of Sydney.

Originally, these two neighbors from upscale Darling Point were as thick as thieves. However, their fierce competition has escalated to such a degree that they’ve started skipping social engagements at the last possible moment just to steer clear of one another.

It seems their dispute started after Victoria found out that Martine, often referred to as a life-sized Barbie and wife of former banker John Wilson, was talking about her behind her back to the other Real Housewives cast members.

If it’s indeed true, it would be quite a backstabbing move, considering Victoria played a significant role in helping Martine get onto Real Housewives of Salt Lake City by connecting her with important social figures and using her connections in the media to secure her position.

By the time the cast started shooting episode three of the new season, Victoria – the proprietor of the Sport Luxe brand – was irate following the revelation that Martine had spoken negatively about her.

Terry Biviano and Victoria Montano

Victoria frequently finds herself involved in disputes within society, and she’s currently embroiled in a disagreement with one of her fellow Real Housewives of Sydney cast members, Terry Biviano.

Last week, the longstanding rivalry between two prominent society figures came to a head at an illustrious birthday celebration held by Elaine Kwan, which was attended by many celebrities.

Terry and Victoria had a heated argument right in front of some high-profile individuals from the eastern suburbs’ elite circle, among them were Ellie Aitken and Alina Barlow, who is the daughter of David Traktovenko, a former Russian billionaire and owner of Sydney FC.

The split among them is causing quite a stir within the exclusive waterfront neighborhoods, with some saying it might eclipse Vanessa Jacobs Fennell’s drama that unfolded in Bellevue Hill this past month.

The predicament unfolded at a much faster pace than anyone anticipated, eventually reaching a level that left stunned attendees hearing heated allegations echoing from different parts of the room.

Due to the party incident, Terry and Victoria have developed a significant disagreement, as it’s been reported that they haven’t spoken to each other since then.

Dina Broadhurst and Kristin Fisher

In the vibrant world of lifestyle trends, I found myself navigating through a unique situation not too long ago – mending a friendship with two prominent figures, Kristin Fisher and Dina Broadhurst. However, given how content Dina seems to be with her new Belgian boyfriend, Kengi Meert, it’s uncertain if she would even notice any issues. After all, we never truly know for sure.
