Inside Peter Andre’s luxury holiday with Princess and Junior as he returns to Cypriot hotel where he filmed The Sunshine Murders

He’s recently started to concentrate more on acting, after first becoming well-known as a musician.

Peter Andre recently traveled to Cyprus to film a new detective drama called ‘The Sunshine Murders‘ for Channel 5.

The singer, age 52, filmed scenes for a TV series over several weeks in the beautiful city of Paphos. The series is filmed at the luxurious Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel.

Peter recently returned to the hotel for a reunion with his former co-stars, Dora Chrysikou and Emily Corcoran.

Peter brought his two oldest children, 20-year-old Junior and 18-year-old Princess, on the trip with him. Junior also brought his girlfriend, 24-year-old Jasmine Orr.

In the series The Sunshine Murders, Peter plays George Constantinou, a criminal pathologist. He teams up with Greek Detective Helen Moustakas, played by Dora, and her half-sister Shirley Rangi (Emily), to crack difficult cases.

This soap opera follows three characters as they journey around Paphos solving mysteries, effectively showcasing the island’s beautiful locations to the audience.

It was easy to understand why Peter chose to revisit the island with his children. He and his family enjoyed genuine Cypriot hospitality in a beautiful, upscale environment.

The singer enjoyed a stay at the Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel, an adults-only resort, in a large suite that included a private pool.

The hotel is located on Paphos’s biggest beach, and Princess took advantage of the seaside setting, taking lots of photos for social media.

The family had a lovely dinner together at Kymata, the hotel’s restaurant right on the beach.

While staying at the hotel, Peter participated in a question-and-answer session with his fellow actors about his Channel 5 series. They discussed why Cyprus was selected as the setting for ‘The Sunshine Murders’.

Emily mused: ‘Location is very important in television and in particular in cozy crime.

We wanted the setting to feel like it was part of the show’s world, a place viewers could really lose themselves in.

I absolutely loved how the show prioritized bringing a real mix of talent and perspectives! It felt like they were thinking about all of us watching at home – maybe cozying up on a rainy day – and they truly delivered on that here in Paphos, and across all of Cyprus. It was exactly what we needed!

Cyprus was chosen as a filming location, in part, because it offered much better tax breaks for film and TV productions than the UK, which helped with the overall budget.

Collaborations like these both display this amazing location and demonstrate that Cyprus is a top choice for both filmmaking and vacations.

Peter shared that he acted as a child, but when his music career began to flourish, he focused on that instead.

‘I always said I’d get back to the acting in my 40s and now I’ve done my first ever TV series.’ 

Peter first auditioned with his natural Australian accent, but then took a chance and switched to a Greek accent. The producers were impressed, and the risk ended up working in his favor.

Honestly, being on that set was a dream come true. I was completely captivated by the experience – getting to watch such talented actors work was a real joy and a privilege. It was just a fantastic atmosphere to be a part of.
