Inside Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion’s Decade-Long Love Story

For over ten years, Patrick Schwarzenegger, a key figure on the show White Lotus, has been romantically involved with Abby Champion, who is also his fiancee.

Following their engagement in December 2023, Abby has witnessed her partner transform from a newcomer in the industry to a highly sought-after actor. His recent daring nude scene in season three of White Lotus left his fans in an excited uproar.

Furthermore, it’s important to note that Abby has not only walked the runway but also represented prominent fashion brands such as Prada, Chanel, Givenchy, and Ralph Lauren on various occasions.

The Birmingham, Alabama native was first scouted at one of her sister’s pageants. 

The recruiter noticed her during the time when her elder sister, Baskin, was being crowned as Miss Teen Alabama back in 2014.

Abby quickly landed a contract with the international modeling agency, Next Models Worldwide, and made her debut at Birmingham Fashion Week in 2015 by strutting down the runway.

As I recount my journey in the captivating world of fashion, I can’t help but reflect on the pivotal moment that truly kindled my passion – an event so electrifying, it only served to deepen my affection for this career. In a candid interview with V Magazine, I shared that the exhilaration I felt during this experience was nothing short of intoxicating, fueling my love for this profession even further.

She expressed that particular program ignited a desire within her to strive harder, aiming to participate in numerous shows. The energy and strength she witnessed in the other performers left such an impact on her, fueling her deep affection for it.

And her modeling does not stop on the runway as she was the cover star for Vogue Adria in May 2024.

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve reached a lifelong dream by establishing myself as a renowned model. Notably, I was fortunate enough to walk the runway in the Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2 back in 2020.

Although Abby might be strikingly attractive, what really captivates Patrick, son of renowned actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, is the strong familial connection that she maintains – a trait he finds incredibly endearing.

In a recent chat with PEOPLE Magazine, Patrick, famously portraying Saxon Ratliff with a rough-and-titled persona, shared that their fundamental principles resonate deeply with him.

He said: ‘how much she values family and how similar our core values are.’

Through the passage of time, my affection for her deepened steadily, appreciating not only who she was evolving into as a person but also the transformation our relationship underwent.

Patrick and Abby began their romantic involvement back in 2015, however, they didn’t announce it openly until the spring season of 2016.

In March of 2016, I proudly confirmed my romantic involvement with them on Instagram, following several months of whispers and speculation.

They had been romantically linked as early as September 2015 when they were spotted out together.

In October 2017, the couple made one of their first red carpet-debuts.

They attended National Geographic’s The Long Road Home premiere in Los Angeles together.

In the eight-episode series, which was adapted from Martha Raddatz’s popular book with the same title, Patrick had the lead role. Meanwhile, Abby played her part as his devoted partner throughout.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I must share an intriguing tidbit about this dynamic duo who’ve yet to grace the silver screen as co-stars. However, their magnetic chemistry was palpable even off-screen, as they graced the cover of Vogue Spain together in 2018 – a stunning sight to behold!

In April 2019, the pair showed up at their nation’s largest festivity, and they were noticed performing at Stagecoach, located in Indio Valley, California.

A few months later, the pair took their relationship to billboard status.

In the Autumn 2019 Calvin Jeans promotional effort, they jointly participated, and Patrick posted a picture on Instagram, depicting him in front of their billboard situated in New York City.

That same month, he gushed to E! News about how supportive of a girlfriend Champion is to him.

He mentioned that what he appreciates most about being with her is how she continually supports him, desires his success, and brings out his potential.

In a relationship, it’s essential to act as your partner’s most enthusiastic supporter, helping them grow and thrive. She consistently does this for me.

In the summer of 2022, the pair enjoyed a romantic summer getaway in Capri, Italy.

He posted pictures of them drinking espresso martinis while admiring a beautiful landscape, as well as relaxing at the spa wearing identical bathrobes together.

In December 2023, they celebrated Christmas with the Schwarzenegger clan; this was confirmed when she was seen socializing with his sister, Katherine, and her partner, Chris Pratt.

The pair then shared a joint Instagram post revealing that he had popped the question.

Alongside a series of photos from a beach proposal, the couple wrote: ‘FOREVER AND EVER’.

One beautiful photograph captured the moment Patrick planted a kiss on his future wife’s cheek, while she proudly displayed her two diamond rings glittering in the light.

They gleamed with delight as they posed before an enchanting setup of vibrant red roses, artfully shaped into a heart, and surrounded by scattered rose petals beneath their feet.

Later, they rejoiced with their loved ones and captured moments with an impressive wedding cake, expressing congratulations for their engagement.

Patrick and Abbey haven’t fixed a date for their wedding yet, but Patrick from The White Lotus has admitted that he would love to have kids right away if it were possible.

He shared with InStyle that there’s no immediate plan for setting a wedding date, giving off an impression that they might as well be married already.

‘We’ve been together 10 years, so it’s like we’re basically married,’ he said.

‘But we’re better as humans together than we would be apart. We bring out the best in each other.’

He added: ‘I feel that I’m the best version of myself with her and I think she does as well.’

According to the Terminal List star, the pair moved in together at the end of last year.

Prior to his relationship with Abby, it’s known that Patrick parted ways with Miley Cyrus following a five-month romance, while roughly two years earlier, there were rumors suggesting a connection between him and Taylor Swift. However, these rumors were never substantiated.
