Inside Out 2 finally confirms Disney+ release date
As a die-hard animation enthusiast who has spent countless hours immersed in the colorful worlds of Pixar, I can hardly contain my excitement for the arrival of “Inside Out 2” on Disney+! After eagerly awaiting its release since the first film left me emotional yet satisfied back in 2015, I’m thrilled that it will be available to stream in just under two weeks.
Pixar has confirmed when Inside Out 2 will become available to stream on Disney+.
2015’s beloved film “Inside Out” will make its streaming debut on September 25, roughly a month following its initial release for rental or purchase on digital platforms.
On their social platforms, Pixar asked fans to prepare for controlling their feelings as they revealed the much-awaited launch date for their upcoming streamed release.
In about two weeks, those with a Disney+ subscription can look forward to experiencing the clash of Riley’s emotions during her teenage years.
Currently, you can still rent or purchase the blockbuster film on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store, and various other digital retailers in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
People who opt for traditional formats have the chance to pre-purchase the upcoming movie in DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD versions in the United Kingdom, before it hits the shelves on September 30.
Released in June, Inside Out 2 welcomes a bunch of new emotions to Riley’s brain.
Joining Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger from the original movie, a new set of central characters make their debut in the sequel, as our hero navigates the various challenges and triumphs of their high school years.
In a fresh rephrasing, Maya Hawke from “Stranger Things,” expressing the unease of newcomers, is joined by Ayo Edebiri from “The Bear” (representing envy), Adèle Exarchopoulos from “Passages” (symbolizing ennui), and Paul Walter Hauser from “Cruella” (portraying embarrassment).
The movie has been a hit at the box office, earning praise from critics, boasting a high rating of 91% as a “Certified Fresh” title on the aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.
Beginning September 25, you’ll be able to stream Inside Out 2 on Disney+. Currently, Inside Out and all other Pixar films are readily available for viewing on the platform as well.
