Delta Goodrem and her newlywed husband Matthew Copley appeared radiantly happy at their post-wedding celebration gathering with loved ones and famous acquaintances in Malta on Tuesday, following their heartfelt wedding ceremony the previous day.

The pair relaxed with their loose tresses at an upscale beach resort in the company of Richard Wilkins, Mia Hawkswell (his partner), Christian (their son), and Renee Bargh (a presenter on The Today Show).

Delta, aged 40, exuded elegance in a vibrant cobalt blue bathing suit and a diaphanous white sarong tied around her midriff, as she joined others for a swim.

She accessoried with black designer shades and several diamond and gold bracelets and necklaces. 

Her most striking accessory, of course, was her massive diamond engagement and wedding rings.

Simultaneously, her new spouse, Matthew, sported an appealing look with a neatly pressed white polo and stylish sunglasses.

Additionally, Delta’s close associates, such as her mom Lea and sibling Trent, were also part of the beach outing along with the couple.

Television host Renee Bargh, who’s been friends for a long time with the singer, was also spotted enjoying a swim alongside Delta, donning a stylish cream-colored two-piece bathing suit.

Additionally, entertainment editor Richard Wilkins, aged 71, joined in on the fun at the surf too. Accompanied by his partner Mia Hawkswell, he sauntered along the beach clad in a pair of black-and-white striped swim trunks.

The Nine Network veteran looked relaxed and ready to party as he joined the festivities. 

At the event, Wilkins’ son Christian, who is thirty years old and well-known for influencing others, was present as well. The stylish trendsetter showcased his toned six-pack physique in a small pair of black swimming trunks while enjoying a refreshing dip in the water.

Simultaneously, the elegant former Nine journalist, Airlie Walsh, was dressed in a sleek black gown featuring a high slit, accentuated by fashionable white-framed sunglasses.

She looked every inch the doting mum as she carried her two-year-old son Peter in her arms. 

It appears that those invited to the extremely exclusive wedding were given comprehensive itineraries several months ahead, suggesting that this event, which concluded a two-year preparation phase, was highly anticipated.

Delta and Matthew officially said ‘I do’ – in the most romantic setting imaginable.

In the very same country they became engaged, the popular Australian pop singer tied the knot with her long-term lover and musician, who is also a gifted guitarist.

On Monday, a grand, multiple-day affair was held as their wedding, gathering the couple’s closest family members and friends.

The grand wedding, featuring many famous faces, was said to have taken two years to plan meticulously. Attendees were provided with comprehensive itineraries prior to the special occasion.

On April 26, the artist behind “The Innocent Eyes” celebrated her hen’s party in Sydney with her dear friends, followed by a trip abroad for an extravagant event.

Recently, the singer concluded an exclusive string of performances in the UK to celebrate 20 years since the release of her seminal Mistaken Identity album. However, it was not only her vocals that sparked conversations among attendees.

In September 2023, Delta, who usually keeps her personal affairs confidential, became engaged to Matthew, her long-time guitarist and songwriting partner.

‘My best friend asked me to marry him,’ she giddily captioned the image, alongside a ring emoji.

Delta also shared footage of the precious moment to the social media platform.

Malta carries a very special significance in Goodrem’s heart – It wasn’t just the location where she became engaged to Copley, but it also holds significant personal and professional connections for the artist.

In a YouTube video posted in 2023, Delta spoke candidly about her connection to that south European country.

She mentioned that everyone in her family is originally from Malta, followed by sharing that a significant number of her bandmates and backup singers who have been with her for a long time also trace their roots back to Malta.
