Influencer Lorna Luxe shared the sad news that her husband, John, passed away at the age of 64 after a long fight with cancer.
It is with deep sorrow that I share the news of my husband John’s passing yesterday. He was a wonderful and courageous man, and I’m absolutely heartbroken. We were together until his final moments, peacefully at home in our bed, holding hands – just as he wished.
The last time we spoke, I asked how he was doing, and he said he was having a tough time, but still felt deeply in love. That really captured his personality – he was always direct and prioritized making me feel loved and secure, even when he was struggling with his own emotions.
My husband John and I were incredibly thankful for the daily visits from the district nurses, who helped keep him comfortable. Anna, in particular, was his favorite – she was so kind and truly felt like an angel. We wouldn’t have been able to spend his final days at home without their care and the support of my mum, who helped me stay strong for John when I needed it most.
