Lorna Luxe shared that her husband, John Andrews, recently had surgery to remove a brain tumor.
Just a month ago, Lorna, 43, let everyone know that John’s adrenal cancer had gotten smaller, but unfortunately, it had also spread to his lymph nodes, meaning he needed more chemotherapy. She also mentioned they were surprised to discover a new tumor.
Lorna was in New York for work when she found out John, age 64, had a severe migraine and needed to go to the hospital. She shared the news with her followers on Instagram.
Lorna immediately rushed to his side, only to learn that doctors had found a new 4cm tumor in his brain.
John had surgery on Monday to remove the tumor, and Lorna happily reported that it went very well.
The influencer shared a photo of her husband smiling from his hospital bed, explaining it was taken before his surgery. She happily reported that the surgery went well and he’s now recovering – and already charming the nurses! She said she’s overjoyed.

Lorna shared on her social media story that she’s staying at a hotel in London, close to the hospital where John is getting better.
She shared with fans that doctors successfully removed a tumor, which she called ‘brilliant’ and exactly what everyone hoped for.
It sounds like the goal is to remove it, and I believe further treatment will likely involve radiation therapy. We’re not sure exactly what he’ll need, but he’ll probably continue with chemotherapy as well.
Lorna shared how difficult the day had been, explaining, ‘He went to the hospital yesterday morning, and to be honest, I was a nervous wreck.’
Seeing John immediately after her surgery relieved her worries. She’d been expecting him to be heavily medicated and out of it, but instead, he was smiling and laughing with the nurses. She was so surprised and happy that she started crying as soon as she walked into the room.
I’m just so happy to report he’s doing really well – his mood is fantastic! He’s incredibly grateful to finally have had the surgery, and it’s made such a difference. It really hits you how fortunate we are to even have these kinds of choices available to us.
Lorna finished the conversation by saying the couple, who enjoy traveling, will relax for a couple of weeks, and she hopes he’ll recover by Christmas.
I recently chatted with Lorna on the ‘Just Between Us’ podcast, and she shared some lovely insights into her marriage with her husband, John – everyone calls him ‘Mr. Luxe’! She explained that despite a 21-year age difference, it’s honestly never been a problem for them. It’s so refreshing to hear about a couple who truly make it work, regardless of numbers!

Lorna is a top UK influencer known for her luxury lifestyle content. She has a large following on Instagram, with over 1.6 million followers.
She gained a large following by openly sharing her journey to recover from an eating disorder. This eventually led her to create and launch her own thriving beauty company, No 98 Beauty.
John left his job at HSBC to support his wife, Lorna, in growing her business, and now often appears in her online content. Lorna has been sharing updates about his health with her followers.
John received a stage three cancer diagnosis in April 2023 and began chemotherapy treatment. Fortunately, he achieved remission in 2024 after a year of treatment.
In May 2024, Lorna shared the heartbreaking news that John’s cancer had returned, spreading to both his brain and adrenal gland.
The influencer shared that openly documenting her partner John’s illness has been a helpful way for her to deal with the situation, and kind messages from her followers have given her the support she needed during tough moments.
Honestly, hearing Lorna talk just gets me. She said when things get tough, all you really need is support, and it hit so hard. It made me think of how she doesn’t have siblings, or a big family to lean on. It’s like, she’s always been so strong, but she deserves all the love and backing in the world, you know? It just makes you root for her even more!
While John was in the hospital, I’d come home late, have a glass of wine, and spend the evening responding to messages. They were incredibly supportive and exactly what I needed to get through that difficult time.

Lorna and John recently marked their 16th wedding anniversary. She noted that the difference in their ages feels less significant now than it used to, as they’ve spent more time together.
Lorna recently admitted that, although she never previously considered having children, she’s begun to wonder about starting a family since turning forty. She and her partner don’t have kids currently.
She explained that after being with someone for a while, you naturally start to pick up their qualities, making any age difference seem less noticeable.
We share a common understanding and similar viewpoints, and even our political beliefs have evolved in the same direction over time.
When we first met, I was 26, and I didn’t worry about much of anything back then. It’s different now that I’m 43.
I’ve been reflecting on my life, especially the past 15 years. I realize I’ve often delayed things, and now I’m wondering if that was the right approach. For instance, my partner and I don’t have children, but I’m now considering starting a family.
