It’s with a heavy heart I share the tragic news of Lidiane Aline Lorenço, a 33-year-old influencer, and her 15-year-old daughter, who were recently found deceased in their apartment. Reports from Brazil indicate that neighbors noticed a strange odor, leading to the discovery. It’s a devastating reminder to cherish every moment with loved ones.
Authorities discovered the remains of the social media personality and her daughter, Miana Sophya Santos, on Friday. They were found in different parts of their house.
According to reports from R7, G1, and UOL, the two people lived in Barra da Tijuca, a neighborhood in the southwest part of Rio de Janeiro.
The Daily Mail has contacted both the local police precinct in Barra da Tijuca (16th DP) and Lorenzo’s modeling agency, 40 Graus Models, for a statement, but has not received a response.
Police found no evidence of forced entry or injury on the bodies or within the apartment, according to a report from R7 citing the 16th Police Precinct.
I live nearby, and people in the building started noticing a strange smell coming from one of the apartments. That’s why the fire department was called – we were all worried something might be wrong.
According to G1, authorities found the influencer’s daughter, Miana, in the living room and the influencer herself in a bedroom.
According to a statement given to G1, police investigators found no signs of a struggle or attack at the location after examining it.
Doctors examined the bodies after death, but haven’t yet figured out what caused it. They’re doing more tests to find out.
After being missing for five days, the bodies of the mother and daughter were found, according to reports.
The Civil Police also told UOL that ‘investigations are ongoing.’
According to UOL, the two individuals were buried on Sunday, October 12th, at the Santa Cecília Municipal Cemetery.
Lorenço and Miana were originally from Santa Cecília, a town in the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, but they had been living in Rio.
Lorenço boasts 54.2K followers on Instagram as she routinely shared her stunning modeling photos.
According to her Instagram profile, she was also a medical student at Afya Universidade Unigranrio, a private university in Rio de Janeiro.
She was represented by Rio based modeling agency 40 Graus Models.
Miana has not been featured on her mother’s Instagram page since she was a child in 2018.
Oh my gosh, I’ve been following Lorenço for ages, and I heard she actually moved to Rio over five years ago! Apparently, it was around the time her daughter came to live with her, at least that’s what UOL reported. I’ve been trying to piece it all together, and that seems to be the key reason!
