Infinity Nikki announces global closed beta test at gamescom 2024

The title was initially launched in December 2022 and is scheduled to be playable on various platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Android devices, and iOS devices. Notably, this newest installment of the Nikki series will offer cross-platform compatibility as well.

Infinity Nikki is expected to launch in December 2024

The game, known as CBT, has been renamed to “Reunion Playtest”. Players on PC and mobile devices (including Android and iOS) are welcome to join in. Although the exact start date is set, the length of the playtest hasn’t been disclosed yet and will be announced later. It should be noted that when the test concludes, all player data and progress from the closed beta test will be erased.

According to the description on the app store, the tentative launch date for this new game appears to be December 31st, 2024. It’s important to note that the developers have not yet confirmed if this is the exact release date.

Infinity Nikki supports cross-platform but requires high-end devices

The game provides some key features to its testers, including the ability to switch devices and compatibility across multiple platforms. However, it’s important to note that while your login is tied to a single device, you can still play the game seamlessly on different platforms. This means that as you progress on your PC, you can pick up right where you left off on your mobile device, and vice versa, using the same account.

Nikki additionally disclosed the essential specifications for playing the game. These included the Snapdragon 888, Dimensity 8100 Max, or an iPhone 11 equipped with A13 Bionic processor. This implies that only individuals owning high-end devices can engage with the game, potentially reducing the number of participants during the trial phase.

How to pre-register for the global closed beta test

Now that the closed beta registration is live, curious gamers can navigate to the Playtest Recruitment Questionnaire page. Here’s a simple guide on how to complete it:

  • Go to the official Playtest Recruitment survey page, log in to the Infold Account, or create one if you have none.
  • Answer the questionnaire with care as the game asks for intensive players only.
  • Hit the submit button after entering the email address that you’ll use to log in to the game.

Additionally, you can sign up beforehand for the game in both the Google Play Store and the App Store. Simply navigate to your preferred store and type the game name into the search bar to start the pre-registration process.
