Industry season 3 episode 3 preview: What time to watch and what to expect
As a seasoned gamer of the financial markets and drama-filled TV shows, I can’t help but feel a sense of déjà vu watching the unfolding saga that is Industry Season 3. The stakes are higher than ever, with Pierpoint’s overvalued Lumi teetering on the brink of disaster, much like my own stock portfolio after a late-night session of Fortnite.
As a gamer diving into Industry season 3, I can feel the ripples caused by Lumi’s rocky IPO across the industry. From what I’ve seen in the trailer, it seems like Henry Muck, Lumi’s CEO, isn’t going anywhere soon. It remains to be seen if Lumi succeeds or not, but what’s clear is that Henry has developed an interest in Yasmin, which could complicate their professional and personal boundaries. Tonight on Industry, Pierpoint is jetting off to a climate conference where they’ll rub shoulders with investors and key players in the field.
As a devoted viewer, I can’t help but wonder if Pierpoint might be overestimating Lumi’s worth. If that’s indeed the case, their future may be uncertain and potentially precarious. Tonight’s episode promises to heighten the suspense as Pierpoint and Lumi find themselves in a sink-or-swim situation. The season 3 of Industry comprises eight episodes in total, with this week marking the third one, titled “It.” Make sure not to miss a single moment of this gripping tale!

Season 3 episode 2 recap
In the latest episode of season 3, titled “Smoke and Mirrors” of Industry, we witness the aftermath of Lumi’s Initial Public Offering (IPO). Recall, when there’s a power outage? This event causes unease among investors and it falls on Pierpoint to reassure them. Particularly, Robert, who is still closely linked with Henry, attempts to keep him composed while offering guidance. He discourages Henry from participating in a virtual interview, causing frustration in Henry. The relationship between them becomes increasingly strained, culminating in a physical altercation at the Lumi office.
At FutureDawn, Harper and Petra devise their plans further, raising Anna’s suspicions about their shared activities. Petra expresses her desire to collaborate with Harper, but insists that any lingering animosity towards Pierpoint and Eric should be set aside for the sake of fairness in their dealings. The Lumi board advises Henry to relinquish his position as CEO, although he remains unyielding and maintains a calm facade, giving no indication of underlying turmoil.
Venetia brings up a necklace she gave to Robert, which he now recalls was left at Nicole’s residence. In a moment of desperation, he sneaks into Nicole’s backyard and retrieves the necklace before being discovered by her adolescent child. They engage in a brief conversation, during which Nicole attempts to kiss Robert. He politely declines this advancement. However, his demeanor changes when he learns that she is underage.
Robert experiences a sense of powerlessness when Henry shuts himself inside a bathroom and refuses to exit, reaching out to Yasmin for assistance instead. In a hurry, Yasmin departs from Pierpoint, explaining her absence to Eric by expressing confidence that she can offer help. True to her word, Yasmin manages to coax Henry out of the bathroom and devises a strategy to portray him favorably in public media.
Once Yasmin’s plan succeeds, she has dinner with Henry, who informs her that he managed to take down the article about her. This piece of news greatly impacts Yasmin, prompting her to playfully tease him in the restroom. In return, Henry gives her a rare bottle of wine, which Yasmin consumes on her journey home, reminiscing about the past and her father’s actions on the boat.
During a reminiscent scene, when Yasmin discovers her father with a crew member having intimate moments aboard their vessel, he attempts to make amends by confessing his financial struggles and legal woes. This revelation ignites an intense dispute between them, escalating to the point where he forcefully restrains her on a bed and flings wine at her face. This incident is undoubtedly a distressing memory for Yasmin, who turns to Harper for solace on the boat.
The episode concludes as Yasmin discovers someone’s still taking her picture, indicating that even though the article about her has been removed, the spotlight on her remains undiminished.
What to expect from season 3 episode 3
Despite Henry finding comfort with Yasmin, his obligation to make Lumi successful remains, as shown in Industry Season 3 episode 3 when he journeys to Switzerland for a conference where he and Eric must present on a panel, aiming to persuade investors that Lumi is a thriving company. The question remains: will they be able to achieve this goal? Alongside Eric, Yasmin and Robert make the trip, suggesting Henry and Yasmin may have some private moments during the conference.
Apart from Harper and Petra, the conference will be in attendance as well, which isn’t favorable news for Eric. He may have an advantage currently, but it’s undeniable that he’s apprehensive about Harper. Tonight’s episode, titled “It,” was penned by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, with Zoé Wittock at the helm as director. For more details, read the official synopsis provided below:
Eric (Ken Leung), Yasmin (Marisa Abela), and Robert (Harry Lawtey) descend on an international climate conference in Switzerland, where Harper’s (Myha’la) machinations threaten the status quo.
1. Harper never fails to create excitement, and I adore her for it – she always manages to keep things lively! I’m equally intrigued by the developing connection between Yasmin and Henry, and there’s something about Henry (played by Kit Harington) that tugs at my heartstrings. My beloved Jon Snow! Robert is still grappling with Nicole’s passing, and it seems like he hasn’t had a moment to even think about it. Doesn’t he need someone to talk to? I fear he may be on the brink of collapse, poor soul.
