The Australian television and advertising community is grieving after the unexpected passing of Kat Droulers, a well-respected figurehead in Network 10’s sales department for many years.
Droulers was in her 40s, and no cause of death has been revealed.
On Tuesday morning, it was announced during a video conference led by the Chief Sales Officer, Rod Prosser, that staff members at Paramount ANZ had learned about her passing.
Droulers was a fixture of the Queensland media scene for almost three decades.
Between September 2018 and January of this year, Droulers served as the Group Sales Manager at the Brisbane head office of company Ten.
she had just received a promotion as the State Sales Director for Advertising at Paramount Australia, which came after their acquisition of regional television licenses previously owned by SCA and WIN networks.

MasterChef Australia was just one of the many shows she helped market to a wider audience.
For more than two decades, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Kat in different positions. It was truly exciting when she took on a leadership position in Queensland, as I stated during her recent promotion,” Prosser expressed.
As the General Manager of Ad Sales, I am thrilled to welcome Kat to our team. Her unique ability to lead authentically strikes a chord not only with our team members but also with our valued clients.
Paramount described Droulers as one of the industry’s most generous and inspiring leaders.
Over almost three decades, Kat has been cherished within the media realm. It was noted that her exceptional sales skills weren’t just about making pitches, but rather connecting with people instead.
She excelled at fostering relationships, uniquely turning professional collaborations into sincere friendships founded on trust, genuineness, and reciprocal regard.
As a guide, Kat was abundant with her time, knowledge, and motivation. She possessed a natural knack for uplifting others, tackling obstacles with inventiveness, positivity, and unyielding faith in the capabilities of her team members.
Her influence continues through the multitude of careers she impacted, the relationships she fostered, and the high standards of excellence and compassion she embodied in each encounter.

‘She will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.’
Droulers was honored for her significant accomplishments in her field, with a notable inclusion in this year’s B&T Women in Media Awards.
She is often recalled by her peers as both a nurturing mentor, guiding the growth of younger colleagues, and a leader possessing a harmonious blend of self-assuredness and empathy.
