Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gameplay - 14 Minutes of Treasure Hunting and Nazi Punching

As a gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis still stands tall as one of the best Indy-inspired games ever made. MachineGames’ latest offering, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, seems to be aiming for that crown, and after a good three hours with the game, I can tell you it’s off to a promising start.

For many, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis stands as the pinnacle when it comes to video games inspired by the renowned archaeologist. MachineGames, developers of Wolfenstein, are undoubtedly aiming to challenge that classic point-and-click adventure with their new creation, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

After spending approximately three hours playing it, we are now able to say with confidence that the game is developing quite well. In fact, we had the opportunity to do just that in our Indiana Jones and the Great Circle hands-on preview a few days ago. The game captures the classic 1980s Indy adventure vibe perfectly.

In the video below, you’ll find a peek at various aspects of gameplay, including battles, puzzles, exploration, and even a dash of whipping (yes, that’s right!). You’ll also hear our typical commentary, which we aim to be informative, though it may sometimes veer off into the realm of chatter. Regardless, we hope you find the video enjoyable.

The adventure game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be available for play on Xbox Series X|S and PC starting 9th December. A PlayStation 5 version is expected to release in early 2025.
