Inbetweeners Star Joe Thomas’ Shock Confession About Fiancé
Joe Thomas recently shared some unique perspectives on his relationship with his partner Hannah Tointon, confessing that he’s found her household management abilities a bit underwhelming at times.
41-year-old actor from The Inbetweeners series, who gained fame for his role, started dating his fellow cast member Hannah (age 37) in 2012. They initially met while working on the popular E4 comedy-drama together.
The pair moved in with each other two years later and are still going strong 15 years later.
Regardless of their engagement in 2017 and the birth of their first child in 2022, it appears that cohabiting may pose difficulties even for the most resilient pairs.
On Thursday, during an episode of The Buckley’s podcast, Joe, accompanied by his former Inbetweeners co-star James Buckley and wife Clair, expressed a minor complaint: “I’m going to vent a bit about Hannah, who unfortunately isn’t here and won’t be able to listen to this.
Instead of Hannah consistently leaving items in random locations, when I ask where the phone charger is, she’ll simply respond with “Search for it.” However, what I’d appreciate is having a starting point to begin my search.

He stated: ‘Google functions effectively because it is organized; it doesn’t respond, “Well, everything seems to be here somewhere, take a dive and find it yourself.”‘
The graduate from Cambridge University confessed that he doesn’t constantly hunt for misplaced objects, yet persists in attributing the issue to an absence of a proper organization method.
In simpler terms, he stated that the premise shouldn’t be ‘It might be absolutely anywhere, and it’s your fault if you’re not searching for it.’ Instead, the starting point should be about understanding where to begin the search.
That task is typically handled by a specialized unit within the police force, consisting of around eight to nine officers and dogs. I can’t perform that duty if I’m occupied searching for my phone charger.
She often says, ‘It’s here,’ but that’s not true; she’s actually using it as a way to make me leave the room.
Feel free to begin your search from that spot, but bear in mind, I have strong doubts about its location.
During his closing remarks, the contestant on the Celebrity Bear Hunt show emphasized that establishing systems is crucial for maintaining an efficiently-functioning household.
He explained: ‘Human beings are fallible, we forget things, that’s why we have systems.

A system can seem less exciting, but it serves as a reliable depository for our memories, freeing us from the burden of remembering everything on our own. For instance, think of passports; they act as our personal storage for important documents, allowing us to travel without having to remember every detail.
‘You don’t just have them somewhere in the house…’
Hannah and Joe first crossed paths when she portrayed Tara, the on-screen love interest of his character Simon Cooper in season 3 of The Inbetweeners, both hailing from Essex.
Following the confirmation of their relationship, Joe acknowledged that he was taken aback by the fact that a romantic connection developed between them, given some rather awkward moments they shared onscreen.
He mentioned: ‘Those scenes didn’t seem to spark romance for me since they consisted of her being ill in my mouth. However, despite this, it’s clear that I have strong feelings for her, so everything turned out alright.’
In the year 2018, they appeared in the summer comedy movie titled “The Festival” together. During this period, Joe mentioned to Christine Lampard on ITV’s Lorraine that he enjoyed acting alongside Hannah, which was eight years after their initial collaboration.
He said: ‘I’ve got to the stage like she’s in everything, I think it went very well.’
Previously, it was affirmed by Joe, who maintains close friendships with his former Inbetweeners cast members, that there might be plans in motion for a new installment of the show.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the leading actor has confirmed the entire original cast is ready to reunite, marking a significant milestone ten years since the last movie hit the screens.
Instead of starting a new TV series, the actor believes it’s more probable that they’ll make another film. This potential movie will focus on a group of friends as they navigate life outside of school.
On the Always Be Comedy podcast, Joe was queried about potential discussions surrounding a return, and he replied: “Indeed, it has transpired in multiple ways. We all think it would be delightful to revisit it.
The show featuring Emily Atack as Charlotte aired from 2008 to 2010 for three seasons, but it wasn’t until the release of the two movies in 2011 and 2014 that the series really took off, gaining widespread recognition.
The second installment of “The Inbetweeners,” titled “The Inbetweeners 2,” surpassed the earnings of its predecessor on its debut day at the box office, making a staggering £2.75 million. This movie continued to follow the immature quartet’s escapades in Australia.
