Report states that actor Casey Deidrick, known for roles in In The Dark and Days Of Our Lives, was taken into custody due to accusations of physically attacking his partner and confiscating her phone during an emergency call.

As I recount my recent experience, I find myself in a sobering position – being detained by the authorities on a Sunday due to allegations of domestic assault and obstructing an emergency call. This information is based on the warrant that has been made public, with TMZ acquiring it.

According to the report, he was initially detained at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. Afterward, he paid a $2,500 bond, enabling his release from custody.

On Sunday morning, as reported by the warrant obtained by TMZ, Deidrick claimed he had a heated disagreement with his girlfriend in their residence in Nashville.

He asserted that the argument arose due to his suspicion that she was secretly videoing him with her mobile device, which made him angry and led him to take the phone away from her.

Additionally, the actor asserted that his partner encircled his throat with her hands, yet authorities reportedly discovered no proof supporting this allegation.

Conversely, his girlfriend acknowledged a disagreement but insisted she hadn’t secretly taped him.

She also alleged to law enforcement hat she had cowered in a corner of the kitchen with her phone. 

According to her, Deidrick suddenly approached from behind, held her tightly with his arms, and attempted to take her phone away.

Afterwards, she explained that she asked for her phone back so she could dial emergency services (911) because she felt unsafe.

Her actress partner finally returned her phone to her, following her promise to vacate the shared residence on the same day.

Deidrick has enjoyed an acting career of over a decade and a half.

He gained significant recognition for creating the character of Chad DiMera, which he played on the NBC daytime drama series “Days of Our Lives” between 2009 and 2013.

Lately, he has been a main character in the television show “In The Dark” on The CW network, which aired from 2019 to 2022. In this series, he played the role of Max Parish alongside Perry Mattfield.

The show primarily revolved around the character of Murphy Mason, played by Perry, who was a young adult living recklessly and heavily drinking, feeling disillusioned with life.

In my world, losing sight doesn’t mean losing perception or empathy. Yet, the crushing blow of uncertainty struck me when I stumbled upon a stillness that felt like the lifeless form of my dearest companion, nestled in the shadows of the alleyway beyond my doorstep.

In the year 2017, Deidrick made appearances in three installments of the MTV series, Teen Wolf. Similarly, he featured in ten episodes of Eye Candy during 2015.

In the year 2021, he appeared in a full-length episode of the horror television series anthology titled “Into The Dark.” Additionally, he shared screen time with Emily Osment in the Hallmark film named “A Very Merry Bridesmaid.

In the latest production, he played the character Ryan Peterson, appearing in the Hallmark movie “Wedding Season,” that hit screens in 2023.
