The popular police drama Grace, featuring John Simm and Richie Campbell, returns to TV tonight. With ITV launching its sixth season, viewers are wondering what’s next for Detectives Grace and Branson.
The popular crime drama, based on Peter James’ novels, is back tonight at 8pm on ITV1. The new season kicks off with a special two-hour episode, and there will be four episodes in total.
Several months after the shocking betrayal of ACC Cassian Pewe, East Sussex Police are still dealing with the fallout and are currently investigating internal corruption. This is the premise of the latest episode, titled ‘Left You Dead,’ according to RadioTimes.

Roy is unsure if he can believe the information Cassian gave him about Sandy’s murder and the danger facing Bruno. At the same time, his team begins investigating a new case when a property developer in Brighton reports his wife has disappeared, uncovering a web of secrets as they do.
Joining John Simm and Rakie Ayola, who play detectives Roy Grace and Glenn Branson, season six will also feature Laura Elphinstone, Brad Morrison, Juliette Motamed, and a guest appearance by Rishi Nair.
What to Read Next
All episodes so far have been adapted from stories by James, but one episode in the sixth season will be an original story created by the show’s writers and producers. This episode will focus on the important issue of women’s safety on a college campus.
This is a serious and unfortunately common problem,” said producer Phil Hunter. “The university has a group dedicated to addressing and publicly condemning this type of behavior.
He explained that the story empowers the young women and students, giving them a real role and allowing their voices to be heard, ultimately helping them to identify the killer.

Since it first aired in 2021, the police drama Grace has become very popular with both audiences and critics. It currently has a strong IMDb rating of 7.4 out of 10, based on over 11,000 reviews.
Now that Endeavour has finished, and with only Vera currently offering serious Sunday night drama, viewers think ITV might have a new, lasting success on their hands. One person described the show as “impressive,” while another praised it as a better-than-average police drama.
Grace airs on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant, full-color magazine dedicated to Harry Styles, is now available! You can find it at newsstands or purchase it online.
