Miley Cyrus prefers to avoid the public uproar surrounding her family’s issues, as it was triggered by her brother Trace speaking out about concerns regarding their father Billy Ray Cyrus’ health.

This past week, the elder sibling of the 32-year-old celebrity publicly appealed to their father for assistance, citing his distressed display during the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20th as a cause for concern.

According to a source speaking to People, the singer known as the Flowers hitmaker is choosing to avoid getting involved in the recent rumors and headlines regarding her family.

The insider added: ‘She’s in a great place now. She’s thriving and looking out for herself.’

Another source told Page Six the Grammy winner has ‘no interest’ in reconciling with her father.

The insider claimed Miley has not had a relationship with her father ‘for a long time.’

35-year-old Trace expressed his desire to assist his father in a heartfelt Instagram post. He admitted that he has a good understanding of whatever issues his father might be facing, and offered his support if his father would be willing to communicate and accept the help.

The music artist nominated for a Grammy in February is set to receive recognition for her collaboration with Beyoncé on the song “II Most Wanted,” which appears on her Cowboy Carter album.
