For nearly three seasons now, “Reacher” has been an outstanding justification for subscribing to Prime Video. Even though many continue to admire Tom Cruise’s portrayal of Jack Reacher in the movies, it’s hard to argue against Alan Ritchson embodying the physical essence that Lee Child intended for the character Jack Reacher. The actor himself hints at even better performances ahead.
Reacher Season 4 has started filming, and Alan Ritchson took to Instagram to share a shot from the set, alongside the news that he had just finished filming the “best fight ever” for the new season. He understands just what a statement that is:

As an ardent film enthusiast, I can’t help but reflect on the extraordinary action-packed season we witnessed last time around. The colossal Alan Ritchson, a man of impressive stature in his own right, found himself squaring off against none other than the imposing figure of bodyguard Paulie, masterfully portrayed by Olivier Richters.
Now, with the production of Season 4 for Reacher only recently underway, anticipation is mounting as Ritchson himself hints at a fresh fight scene he’s just wrapped up that might even surpass the epic encounters we witnessed last season. The hype train is in full swing!
From the Instagram post and its caption, we don’t have much detail about the upcoming fight scene. It’s uncertain whether it is connected to the scene or just a typical BTS photo featuring Ritchson portraying a tough character. If it is indeed a scene shot, the presence of two men standing behind him could suggest that instead of facing a single powerful adversary, Reacher might confront a group of antagonists.
In the fourth season of Reacher, they’re planning to bring Lee Child’s novel Gone Tomorrow to life on screen. The storyline has Reacher getting entangled in a subway encounter with a woman who ends her life, and he spends the rest of the tale trying to discover why this happened. The season appears to follow the usual pattern for the series, as Jack Reacher doesn’t typically seek out trouble, but it seems to come his way instead. His strong sense of justice means he can’t just let it go unaddressed.
With Reacher Season 4 currently in production, we can anticipate its release towards the latter half of 2026, or potentially early 2027. In the meantime, fans can look forward to the debut of Neagley, a spinoff series starring Maria Sten. It’s suggested that Ritchson might make an appearance in this new show as well, which could offer some exciting action sequences for those who prefer not to wait.

It might not top Reacher’s all-time best, as hinted by Alan Ritchson, but it’s expected to be quite spectacular nonetheless.
