I’m A Celeb’s Coleen Rooney reveals the big mistake Wayne almost made when he got a tattoo tribute to her
As an ardent fan of Coleen Rooney and her extraordinary life journey, I find myself utterly captivated by the tale of her husband Wayne’s near-miss tattoo mishap. It’s not every day you come across a story that perfectly encapsulates both love and laughter!
Colleen Rooney disclosed that her soccer-player spouse, Wayne, nearly committed an error while getting a tribute tattoo dedicated to her inked on his arm.
38-year-old WAG discussed the close call incident that occurred during the episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here on Tuesday.
In this particular segment, the media figure shared stories about the beginnings of her romance with the ex-England athlete, engaging her fellow camp residents in conversation.
Coleen and Wayne initially crossed paths at age 12, but it wasn’t until she turned 16 that their relationship began.
Even though they started their relationship at a relatively early age, Wayne felt confident that Coleen was his soulmate and demonstrated his unwavering devotion by getting a highly enduring symbol of love.
Yet, Colleen shared with the campmates that even though Wayne was convinced about his affection for wanting an everlasting token, he was uncertain on how to correctly spell her name.
In simpler terms, the contestant informed her fellow campers that during her friend’s 18th birthday celebration, Wayne’s cousin called to ask about how she spellings her name, whether it has one ‘L’ or two.
Asking why, he said: ‘I’m just with our Wayne in town, he’s getting a tattoo.’
She mentioned that she hadn’t been with him for a very short time prior to elaborating: “Later tonight, I’ll be attending a party, and he acts as if he knows everyone by waving his hand around like this.” [demonstrates waving hand]
‘He’d got my name tattooed on him! At 17!’.
In another part of the episode, Colleen reminisced about feeling awkward when Wayne would arrive at her school in a Bentley during his time with Everton football club.
She mentioned: ‘Back then, while I was in school, he was already representing Everton on the field. It would often happen that as I walked by, girls would point and ask, “Who owns that flashy car over there?”‘
‘And he was in a Bentley and something else and there’s Wayne in the passenger seat with his arm out and one of the players like Thomas Gravesen.’
As a die-hard fan, I’d confess, “I’d always feel awkward,” but then I’d quickly add, “It wasn’t mine; he was simply getting a ride home!
During the broadcast on Wednesday, fellow campers shared stories about their diverse tattoos, and Jane Moore unveiled her amusing tattoo mishap.
The member of the Loose Women panel, aged 62, confessed that she had a tattoo done when she turned 18. However, she stopped the procedure midway because it was too agonizing for her.
Regarding the tattoos seen at the campsite, Jane asked Danny if each of his ink artworks had a special meaning or a backstory.
He shared that his grandfather often said, “A day is valuable when it brings a smile,” indicating that the sentiment still holds true for him.
Sharing the backstory behind her tattoo, Jane recounted, “At around 18 years old, I decided to have a bluebird inked on my lower back. They only traced it, but when they started to fill it in, I found it too painful, so I thanked them and walked away.
‘So I’ve just got this outline. It’s like a golden eagle now because my a**e has got bigger!’
