I’m A Celebrity’s Danny Jones reveals he has taken his guitar into the jungle as his luxury item after his son wrote sweet message on it
As a die-hard McFly fan since their debut in 2003, I’ve witnessed the band’s journey from being teenage pop sensations to seasoned musicians, and now, it seems, jungle survivalists! The sight of Danny Jones, my heartthrob, with his son Cooper’s family portrait on a guitar as his luxury item for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is just too much for this old fan to handle.
McFly’s Danny Jones chose to bring a guitar as his luxury item for I’m A Celebrity, and this special instrument was personalized by his six-year-old son. The young artist drew a beautiful family portrait on the guitar, with heartfelt words, “We love you Daddy,” written across it.
38-year-old singer Georgia Horsley, who won Miss England a decade ago, was recently seen carrying a guitar in his luggage upon arriving at Brisbane Airport. He is married to this musician and shares a six-year-old son named Cooper Alf with her. The couple has been together for 10 years.
A week ago, the star made its way to Australia, accompanied by Sam Thompson (currently reigning as King of the Jungle), Joel Dommett (a previous contestant), and Kemi Rodgers (a popular radio DJ). These three are jointly hosting a new spin-off show.
Among countless admirers of the McFly fanbase, Danny has earned the title of a heartthrob. It’s expected that he will be equally popular in the Jungle, as he is about to appear alongside celebrities such as Coleen Rooney, Maura Higgins, and former X-Factor judge Tulisa.
A single parent, known for selling over 10 million records globally, recently emerged victorious on ITV’s reality singing contest, The Masked Singer, while concealed beneath an enormous Piranha costume.
Viewers shouted “Remove your mask!” which made Cooper curious. To his great joy, he found out that the person who had taken off the mask was none other than his father. Overwhelmed with emotion, Cooper leaped from the couch and embraced Danny, exclaiming, “Dad! It’s dad!
Thousands watched the touching moment which has since gone viral online.
2021 has proven to be a triumphant year for the pop star, as he was invited to join an esteemed panel of judges on The Voice, alongside musical legends such as Tom Jones and Will.i.am. In a unique twist, he shared a judge’s chair with his McFly bandmate, Tom Fletcher, marking the first ‘double chair’ in the talent show.
McFly gained popularity in 2003, partially because of their connection with Busted. They accompanied the ’00s pop phenomenon during their concert tour.
Danny first crossed paths with Tom Fletcher during an audition for the boy band known as V. As it turned out, they had mutual passions, which eventually led them to compose tunes together alongside Dougie and Harry Judd, with Harry contributing his drumming skills to the mix.
And then, in 2013, the world supergroup McBusted was formed.
Back in McFly’s 10th anniversary shows at the illustrious Royal Albert Hall, I had the pleasure of being part of the audience. It was subsequently revealed that James Bourne and Matt Willis, members of Busted, would team up with McFly to create a dynamic six-piece pop-punk band, which we came to know as McBusted.
Their eleven-gig McBusted Tour quickly sold out and was extended to 34 shows.
A year after forming, the six-member group opened for One Direction during their Where We Are Tour, marking their initial performance outside of their home country.
In 2015, the band parted ways, yet there’s always been the possibility of a reunion. Fletcher expressed, “This certainly doesn’t feel like the final chapter.
In the early part of this year, millennials rejoiced upon hearing that two renowned bands had planned a reunion performance slated for 2025, promising an epic musical showdown dubbed as the ‘greatest band competition.’
Over the past month, I’ve been all fired up about James Bourne’s announcement! Here’s the scoop: he’s organizing a tour where it’s all about figuring out who’s the ultimate band. That’s right, folks! It’s up to us, the fans, to decide. We can show our support for our favorite group, and who knows? Our preferences might shift as we witness the intense competition. This is going to be a battle royale, a fight to the very end! I simply can’t wait to see the music magic unfold!
The announcement for the ‘Vs’ Tour was made when Busted unexpectedly took the stage during McFly’s 21st birthday concert at London’s O2 Arena.
McFly said: ‘Busted have gatecrashed our show [not cool] and challenged us to a VS tour next year.
‘They’re old men now and we are going to blow them and their careers off the stage next year.’
In response to an overwhelming clamor from fans, an additional 21 performances have been scheduled for their UK and Ireland tour. Furthermore, specifics about The Final Battles, which include the final three shows taking place in Newcastle, Birmingham, and London, have been revealed.
