Dean McCullough has publicly discussed the distressing death threats he’s encountered since his departure from the jungle.
33-year-old celebrity from I’m A Celebrity has disclosed that law enforcement is probing disturbing messages from despicable cyberbullies, causing him concern for his personal security.
The radio host mentioned that he’s finding it difficult to wake up each day due to the constant harassment he encounters.
In an interview with the Daily Star Sunday, he disclosed that after leaving the jungle, he received numerous death threats. Individuals have expressed wishes that he had contracted AIDS and passed away, or stated that if they encountered him on the street, they would physically assault him.
It was painful for me when others mentioned they’d be visiting both my workplace (BBC) and my home. The topics seemed quite intense.
Officers visited my home, collected a statement from me, and subsequently shared this information with law enforcement agencies nationwide. They are currently probing the situation. So far, they have successfully identified several individuals who allegedly issued threats against me.

Here’s a possible way to rephrase the sentence in a more natural and easy-to-read style:
“Thirty-five accounts were categorized as containing harmful interactions, with twelve of them involving serious threats that could be considered life-threatening. These accounts are currently being identified.
According to recent reports, Dean notified Greater Manchester Police about the potential dangers, which led them to start an investigation and request assistance from additional law enforcement agencies.
Last year, Dean opened up about his heartbreaking history of homelessness on Good Morning Britain.
In the conversation I had with Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway over video call, I shared my story of not having a fixed abode during my youthful years.
In his own words, he mentioned that when he was growing up, his family experienced homelessness because they were evicted from their home. He and his mother had to share a bedroom and a couch during that time.
In the face of hardships, I’d say: “During those days, though we were considered homeless, I attended school regularly, put on my best clothes each day, was well-fed, and surprisingly, we managed to find joy in our circumstances. Looking back, I wouldn’t have labeled that period as ‘homeless,’ but rather a unique time of resilience and contentment despite adversity.
After teaming up with Centre Point, an organization focused on ending youth homelessness, Dean came to fully understand the severity of his previous circumstances.
The radio host explained that it wasn’t until he began working with them and they were unaware of his homelessness story, that he truly came to understand and appreciate his own experience.

Speaking about his time in London, he mentioned that he often had no permanent residence; instead, during the intervals of his work engagements and various odd jobs, he would temporarily stay with others.
‘For quite a lot of my time living in London, I was moving from house to house.’
The star shared insights about his past residences: ‘Certain homes I stayed at were turbulent due to substance abuse issues among my roommates. Unfortunately, I found myself immersed in that lifestyle too.’
On some occasions, I used to spend my Thursdays and the whole weekend hopping from one party to another, moving between friends’ houses. This was my way of avoiding the unstable atmosphere at home.
Dean became the second contestant to be voted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
In the first episode, Dean was noted for his loud cries during challenges. However, over time, he was chosen for an impressive total of seven Bush Tucker Trials.
‘The more you do it the more you get used it,’ he told hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
I aimed to make both my family and myself feel proud, as I possess great strength, yet this is a circumstance I’ve not encountered earlier.

In summing up his overall experience, he remarked: “This entire journey is utterly incredible! I still can’t wrap my head around being here. Don’t misunderstand me – I won’t miss it when it’s over, but I’ve truly immersed myself in every moment of it, from the challenges to the camaraderie, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed every bit of it.
This morning, as I opened my eyes, I pondered if I should venture out today, and if I did, I would be as joyful as a person on the moon, for I would have lived through the entire adventure, having laid my eyes upon the Jungle Junkyard.
The experience was entirely different from what I had anticipated, nothing at all like I imagined. What you might not realize is that this camp we’re approaching seems to be constantly on the move. We’re almost there, and yet, we end up sleeping in proximity to it each night.
He commented, “It’s hard to express how tedious it becomes inside. We’ve played every imaginable game in there not once, but twice. I never thought I’d say this, but I’ve discovered a lot about myself while being here.
