I’m A Celebrity star Danielle Harold makes shocking admission about her love life as she shares top tips for celebs heading to the jungle
As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for spotting trends and patterns, I find Danielle Harold’s journey fascinating. The former EastEnders star, who has graced our screens for over a decade now, continues to captivate us off-screen as well. Despite her time on the popular reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and her stint in the jungle, she remains single – an intriguing twist in an otherwise captivating life.
She often set pulses racing on-screen during her stint in the jungle.
Nonetheless, the ex-EastEnders actress Danielle Harold, aged 32, recently disclosed that she remains unattached following her stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! about a year back.
During the program, the actress caused laughter among her fellow participants when she playfully complained, “I can’t even get a man to buy me a cup of coffee!”, and it appears her romantic prospects haven’t improved since then, as she admitted she rarely gets approached.
Speaking to The Sun, I, Danielle, admitted to my current singleness. Being quite the homebody, I don’t venture out often.
She added: ‘But when I do, I never get chatted up.’
‘I had a lot of DMs when I came out of the jungle from guys asking me if I wanted a cup of tea.’
At first, the celebrity was perplexed by their messages. However, it didn’t take her long to figure out that the messages were in response to something she said during the program.
Danielle playfully pointed out that her primary conversation partners are the chocolate cookie companies McVitie’s and Oreo, since they seemingly message her directly.
Last year, Danielle finished in sixth place during her stint on the ITV program, whereas 32-year-old ex-Made In Chelsea cast member, Sam Thompson, emerged as the winner, titled ‘King of the Jungle.’
Meanwhile, boxer Tony Bellew, 41, came second and MP Nigel Farage, 60, came third.
Danielle consented to appear on the program following her departure from Albert Square, which was one of the saddest farewells ever seen on EastEnders.
In the year 2023, Lola Pearce, her character, succumbed to a brain tumor, while Danielle received numerous accolades for her outstanding portrayal following this event.
For several years now, Danielle has had relationships with various men, such as her ex-co-star Bobby Brazier, who is 21 years old. They were photographed together at the National Television Awards back in March 2022.
In the photo, it became clear that Bobby is a close companion of hers. In this image, he could be seen assisting her as she attempted to navigate her way out of her car while having trouble walking in her high heels at the occasion.
Previously, Danielle was also seen alongside actor Charles Venn, aged 51, who had a role in the show ‘Casualty’. Notably, he has also been part of the cast for ‘EastEnders’ before.
In the snap, he could be seen with his arm around her as they headed to a star-studded bash in June but Danielle squashed any rumours of the pair dating.
In her latest conversation with The Sun, the celebrity expressed that she has no plans to join any dating platforms, including the popular celebrity-oriented platform Raya, in her quest for a partner.
Danielle asserts that she’s currently savoring her single status and feels incredibly fortunate to be part of the field she’s in, expressing a sense of gratitude.
Instead, she intends to catch the latest cast of celebrities appearing in the jungle, which includes Coleen Rooney, Maura Higgins, Danny Jones, Alan Halsall, and Oti Mabuse.
She even gave this year’s campmates some advice on how to behave in the jungle after Nigel shockingly stripped off for showers and baths, leaving viewers at home gobsmacked.
She told The Sun you have to keep your swimsuit on as you ‘have to keep your decorum in there’.
Danielle additionally admitted that immersing herself fully into nature in the jungle left her feeling more at ease with her physical self.
Even though she loves dressing up for social occasions, she asserted that she’s equally content wearing sweatpants and slippers at home.
In simpler terms, the celebrity mentioned that choosing to go without makeup or elaborate styling upon leaving the jungle significantly reduced her concern over her looks. Now, she expresses feeling significantly more at ease with herself in her thirties compared to her twenties.
At age 18, Danielle became a part of the BBC soap opera. Since the soap is marking its 40th anniversary soon, the actress confessed that she feels honored to have contributed in some way to the legacy of EastEnders.
After departing from her previous show, Danielle has since participated in the Channel 4 series, Celebrity Hunted, slated to air post-Christmas. Additionally, she has made an appearance on Richard Osman’s BBC game show, House of Games.
She teamed up with friend Kimberly Hart-Simpson (age 37) to star on Celebrity Hunted. After wrapping up filming, she shared that it was an enjoyable experience for both of them, but jokingly compared their dynamic to a more cost-effective version of Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton from the reality show The Simple Life.
Additionally, she pondered over her experiences in the jungle and shared with The Sun that she maintains contact with her famous fellow campers through a WhatsApp group conversation.
