Rapper Aitch has arrived in Australia to compete in the new season of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’

Harrison James Armstrong, the singer from Manchester, is preparing for a series of challenging Bushtucker Trials on a show hosted by Ant and Dec, alongside other celebrities.

He’s joining the new season of the show – its 25th! – alongside celebrities like Kelly Brook, Shona McGarty, Lisa Riley, AngryGinge, and Martin Kemp. They’ll all be facing the challenges of the jungle together.

Aitch is a major UK rap artist with an impressive track record, including 20 songs that reached the Top 10 and a BRIT Award win in 2023 for Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act. He also has a large and dedicated following of over six million people on social media.

But while he’s made waves in music, the 25-year-old’s love life has been just as vibrant. 

Aitch is trading concert stages for the jungle, and as he does, we’re revisiting his past relationships – including his playful appearance on Chicken Shop Date with Amelia Dimoldenberg and his very public breakup with influencer Lola Thompson.

Amelia Dimoldenberg 

Aitch quickly gained popularity online after starting a relationship with YouTuber and journalist Amelia Dimoldenberg.

She first encountered him in 2019 on her show, Chicken Shop Date, where she asked him about his relationships.

Amelia’s YouTube channel has gained a large following – over 3.3 million subscribers – thanks to interviews with popular figures like Louis Theroux, Ed Sheeran, and Dave.

She wanted to know if Aitch was seeing anyone, and was shocked to learn he wasn’t texting any other girls.

Oh my god, Amelia asked Aitch if he believes in love at first sight, and his answer was so Aitch! He actually said he does believe in it, which, like, amazing! But then he immediately followed it up with ‘it’s never happened to me so I wouldn’t know,’ which is just… ugh, perfection. It’s so honest and real, and it makes me want to believe in it even more, even if he hasn’t experienced it yet! I’m obsessed with how self-aware he is!

‘But I would like to think that one day I’ll look at someone and fall in love.’

In 2022, Aitch got fans talking by sharing cryptic TikTok videos hinting at a new girlfriend, who was later revealed to be Amelia.

Aitch and Amelia’s first date was a simple milkshake outing, but Aitch made sure to keep Amelia’s identity a secret.

It was obvious he and Amelia had a connection, as he posted another sweet video showing them enjoying a close and adorable bowling date.

He responded to the video with a dismissive message – ‘Yeah, you guessed it. F off now’ – and then shared a romantic selfie of himself with his partner.

Soon after, Amelia talked about their relationship in an interview with Kiss FM, saying they were dating.

‘I like him a lot, I love that he loves me so much,’ she said.

Aitch then shared a picture of them on Instagram, calling her ‘Amelia Armstrong’.

Around the same period, the journalist had a quick cameo in the music video for ‘Baby,’ a song by him and Ashanti.

Despite seeming close, their romantic relationship didn’t work out, and they revealed they were breaking up in a video where they were exchanging ‘best friend bracelets’.

This left fans believing the relationship was a PR stunt to promote his new song.

For a long time, people have suspected their relationship was just for show, a way to get publicity. However, neither of them has ever confirmed or denied these rumors.

Lola Thompson

Following his split from Amelia, Aitch started dating influencer Lola Thompson.

During their relationship, Lola grew very close to Aitch’s sister Gracie, who has Down Syndrome.

He had previously posted a video of his sister and Lola holding hands, captioning it with, ‘Gracie and Lola completely forget about me when they’re together.’

The former couple dated for 10 months between 2022 and 2023 before calling it quits.

From what I understand, both parties were really disappointed things didn’t work out. It all came down to their busy schedules just not aligning, which is a shame – timing really is everything, isn’t it?

Lola, a model for PrettyLittleThing, revealed she and her partner had broken up. She shared a video with her best friend, captioning it ‘When you and your bestie are both single at the same time.’

A friend shared with The Sun that Aitch and Lola really enjoyed each other’s company and were in a committed relationship, but ultimately found it difficult to make enough time for each other.

Honestly, it’s sad to see, but Lola’s really focusing on herself right now and seems to be handling being single as best she can. And Aitch? He’s just completely buried himself in work, which I get, but it’s clear they’re both really hurting inside. They seem genuinely gutted about everything.

Although the couple reportedly separated on good terms, Aitch shared a disturbing story about the situation during a September episode of the 90s Baby Show podcast.

Aitch didn’t mention the woman’s name, but he remembered attempting to become intimate with an ex-girlfriend in a hotel room while they were in Bali.

Let me tell you, travel mishaps happen. I was really thrown when I woke up to discover my travel companion had a pretty rough night with a bad case of what we call ‘Bali Belly’ – basically, a really unpleasant stomach upset from something she ate or drank. It wasn’t pretty, and definitely a reminder to be super careful about food and water when you’re exploring new places!

In a TikTok clip from the show, he explained he was with a woman and they went to bed. The next morning, he said he ‘tried to make something happen’.

He went on to express his horror at noticing the state of affairs beneath the sheets. 

Aitch joked his ex had experienced flatulence and believed she had ‘got away with murder’. 

He exclaimed, ‘I think something’s wrong!’ which caused the podcast hosts to burst out laughing.

Aitch said he was so horrified by the discovery that he had to leave the room as soon as possible.  

In a twist, Lola decided to out herself as the ex in question.

Shortly after the podcast came out, the model posted a video on TikTok strongly criticizing Aitch. She said he was ‘disrespectful’ and used ‘vulgar’ language when talking about her.

She confirmed his story wasn’t accurate, admitting she did have an accident in Bali, but clarifying it wasn’t how he remembered it.

It happened while I was sleeping, and thankfully it was contained – it didn’t get on the bed or on him. It wasn’t as widespread as he claimed.

Honestly, it was the opposite of what I expected. He wasn’t pushing me away at all – he was genuinely embracing me, telling me how much he cared. It was a really touching moment.

Lois Cottam

Earlier this year, news broke that the rapper was dating Lois Cottam, a beautiful student studying psychology.

It’s not known exactly how they met, but people familiar with the situation say they’ve been acquainted for some time.

Despite rapping about trying to pick up a girl on his song ‘Luv?’ featuring Anne-Marie, he’s actually been in a relationship with his girlfriend for several months now.

According to a source, Aitch and Lois have been dating for a few months and their relationship is becoming more serious.

Aitch hasn’t shared any photos of her on social media, and they’ve been deliberately keeping their relationship private.

Her Instagram account is set to private, and she’s taken down her profile picture. However, you can still see that he follows her.

It is not known if the pair are still ‘together’.
