When Vogue Williams touched down in Australia this month it seemed she had nothing to lose.
Vogue Williams, a 40-year-old Irish television personality, was loved for her upbeat and friendly nature. However, she wasn’t quite as famous as her husband, Spencer Matthews, 37, who starred on the reality show Made In Chelsea.
When Vogue Williams joined “I’m A Celebrity,” people were eager to see how she’d fare, and bookmakers predicted she had a good chance of winning before the show even began.
People were also hoping her appearance on the show would finally put an end to the negative attention the Matthews family had received from ‘I’m A Celeb,’ especially since it’s been ten years since Spencer was removed from the show for using steroids.
Despite arriving at the camp relatively late, Vogue quickly lost popularity. Bookmakers Ladbrokes drastically lowered her chances of winning, making her the least likely contestant at odds of 200 to 1.
On Monday evening, Vogue Williams was voted off the show, becoming the third celebrity to leave camp, after Alex Scott and Eddie Kadi.

People on X (formerly Twitter) expressed their excitement about her participation. However, some pointed out that the outcome might have been different if Irish residents had been able to vote.
Public opinion towards Vogue seemed to sway when former model Vogue claimed she felt ‘so ugly’.
People criticized her for seemingly seeking reassurance when she confided in Ruby Wax and Lisa Riley, saying she felt self-conscious about her appearance because she thought everyone else in camp was very attractive.
Ruby went on to tell her: ‘You’re the prettiest person I’ve ever seen in my life’.
Vogue caused some drama in the camp by arguing with AngryGinge and Aitch over who would do the dishes.
Viewers were upset last week when Vogue didn’t eliminate anyone after Kelly Brook won a drinking game on the show.
She had to drink a blended beverage made with fish eyes and fermented fish, while Kelly chose to eat a mixture of pig vagina and bull penis.
She finished her drink quickly, but viewers pointed out she spilled quite a bit before immediately regurgitating it. She then argued that Kelly deserved to win instead.

People were surprised to learn that Spencer wouldn’t be traveling to Australia to meet Vogue after she finished her time on the reality show.
Married since 2018, the couple have three children: six-year-old Theodore, four-year-old Gigi, and two-year-old Otto.
According to the Daily Mail, Spencer won’t be working with Vogue Down Under. He’s currently focused on an incredible challenge: completing seven Ironman triathlons on seven different continents within 21 days.
Instead, it was Vogue’s manager and pal Louisa McDonald that jetted to Australia.
According to a source, the situation is unfortunate but necessary. Both individuals have very full schedules, and it wasn’t possible to reschedule either commitment to make things work.
Okay, so they basically said things aren’t perfect timing-wise, but honestly, it’s just one of those things where Vogue and Spencer’s schedules are totally packed! It’s like, their diaries just collided, you know? It’s frustrating, but I get it – they’re super busy people!
Spencer definitely wants to be there for Vogue when she finishes her time in the jungle and support her, but they both have prior commitments that unfortunately clash with each other’s schedules.
It’s possible Spencer might complete his triathlon early, but it’s doubtful he’d be able to travel to Australia afterward.
Both parents will miss their children, who will remain in London to keep up with their schooling. They’ll likely offer their support from a distance, and probably watch their parents on TV whenever possible, like on Vogue.

Following Vogue’s elimination from the competition, Spencer used social media to express his admiration for his wife, calling her ‘brave’ and ‘fearless.’ He shared his excitement about returning home to her and their children.
I was sad to learn that my beautiful Vogue has left ‘I’m a Celebrity,’ but I’m incredibly proud of her courage and time in the jungle.
Honestly, watching her was incredible. She just faced every single challenge with so much heart and wasn’t afraid of anything! And even when things got tough, she was always the one keeping spirits up, staying positive and finding practical solutions. She’s just… amazing, truly!
Honestly, I really wish I could have been there to support her when she came out. I’m thinking of her constantly and sending all my love from way down here in Antarctica!
The good news is we can now video call, which is great because I know she’s really missed the kids. I’m so excited to hear from her and for us to be together again next week.
It would have been fun to watch Spencer return to the iconic campsite a decade after being removed from the show ‘I’m A Celebrity’.
In 2015, he was taken off the ITV show after only three days because he used anabolic steroids, an incident he later said was ‘deeply embarrassing’.
Spencer recently told The Mirror he left “I’m a Celebrity” after only three days because he made a mistake and needs to explain what happened.
Soon after I got to Australia, I informed the production crew that I had started taking a steroid medication a few weeks prior.
I began taking these pills to get ready for a charity boxing match, but the match was eventually cancelled.

In a 2016 interview with Loose Women, he explained that his use of drugs stemmed from wanting to get bigger for a fight, driven by vanity.
I planned to reduce my medication slowly, but I didn’t have time before I arrived in the jungle.
He explained that the show’s producers followed the law, since steroids are illegal to possess and use in Australia.
He explained that ITV made the right decision, even though it led to him quickly leaving the country. He admitted he was very embarrassed by the whole experience.
When asked about the legality of steroids in Australia, Spencer said he didn’t know the laws, simply stating, ‘I wasn’t aware of that.’
The TV star has often said he’d like to try hosting the show again now that he’s no longer taking medication.
However, it is not clear if another offer ever materialised.
After leaving the show I’m A Celebrity, Spencer Matthews has made significant positive changes to his life. He stopped drinking in 2018 and now focuses on completing demanding fitness challenges in various locations around the globe.
