I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses admit they are preparing for the ‘toughest’ year yet as huge pythons infest jungle camp – just days before show returns

The show consistently sparked discussion, often due to the inclusion of divisive personalities like Nigel Farage and Matt Hancock.

Last year, ‘I’m A Celebrity‘ featured a less controversial group of stars, like Coleen Rooney and Danny Jones from McFly, after deciding to exclude politicians from the show.

It was, as a result, a year that passed with little to no drama.

ITV executives are implementing new rules for this year’s show, which they anticipate will be the most challenging one yet. These changes are designed to encourage the celebrities to be more competitive, actively participate, and avoid being passive.

The show has stopped allowing celebrities to receive personal comforts from home, like pillows with family photos. Producers made this change to keep the contestants challenged and prevent them from becoming too comfortable.

Celebrities can instead win a framed photo of anyone they choose by completing a challenge.

Okay, so I was reading the Daily Mail, and Olly Nash, the EP of the show – honestly, the BEST show ever – was talking, and he just gets it. He said it’s supposed to be hard, really challenging, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with showing how brutal it is! Like, yes! That’s what makes it amazing! It needs to be intense, and he totally understands that. It’s not about being fake or sugarcoating anything; it’s about being real. I’m so glad someone involved finally said it out loud!

‘We need to see more celebrities earning their keep, that’s the most important thing.

This season features a record number of celebrity contestants, making the competition fiercer than ever.

Last year’s cast was a very positive and joyful group who enjoyed working together. This year, they’ll face more challenges, contribute more significantly, and take on larger roles at camp.

They can’t stay on the sidelines anymore. It’s time for them to take responsibility and deal with the consequences of the situation.

Several celebrities on this year’s show are likely to become irritable if they’re hungry or tired.

This year a new feature referred to as the Getaway Car has been introduced at the launch show.

The first ten celebrities are divided into two groups. The first two people to finish challenges in each group – which include a messy task involving fish – will earn a ride to camp in the Getaway Car, complete with a celebratory drink.

They are then greeted by more comfortable beds in the camp with mattresses.

The other three people in each group ride in an older, less comfortable van nicknamed the ‘Coco van’.

Producers of ‘I’m A Celebrity’ have reported a significant increase in the number of pythons around the jungle camp this year. According to Mr. Nash, they’ve seen more snakes than in any previous season of the show.

He mentioned seeing more snakes during this stage of construction than ever before, including large pythons nearly as long as the log beside him.

Okay, so I’m completely obsessed with spotting them, and I’ve seen SO many snakes lately – like, six or seven just in the last couple of weeks! And that’s only when people are around to see them, which is weird because usually they’re super shy and hide whenever we’re setting up camp. It’s like they’re curious or something when there’s activity!

Following a recent report in the Mail, it’s been revealed that a new rule has been introduced to the show after 25 years. This rule states that if a celebrity participates in two consecutive trials, they won’t be subject to the next public vote.

Viewers are pleased with these changes, especially after last year when Dean McCullough was repeatedly selected for difficult challenges – he faced seven Bushtucker Trials in a row, and things became unfair.

Viewers expressed their frustration on X, previously known as Twitter, requesting that Dean receive fewer opportunities on the show. They felt his frequent appearances were becoming repetitive, dominating the airtime, and negatively impacting the overall viewing experience.

Oh my gosh, they finally listened! It’s happening! All of our favorite stars are going to be doing the trials, earning those stars, and battling it out for our votes! But… they’re saying it’s not going to be easy for them. Apparently, life in camp is going to be even tougher than before, which honestly? I’m kind of here for it. Bring on the chaos!

If a contestant wants a bath, two others must work together to pedal a bicycle and pump the water needed. This also means there’s less opportunity for anyone to hide away from the group.
